Some diode went in original clocks, put some others in but have 40k extra miles on. Want to correct as best as possible without going to a milleage correction service.

Bit specific but after some G60 digital clocks with 122k or a bit higher. Got to be above 122k to keep mileage more or less accurate. Cheers Dave

Hi mate, much appreciated for the reply. I am afraid it needs to be over 122k as thats what the mileage was. Dash decided to go up in smoke so looking for something close so I dont have to go down the lines of using a mileage correction service or putting some clocks in with considerably more milaeage on. Car needs Mot'ing so want to keep things correct, or as near as damn it Cheers Dave

Hi all, I am trying to put the tensioning spring (shock) back on my g60, but I am having problems getting it back on. Is there a simple way to compress, adjust the tensioner so i can fit the spring back on? Any advice gladly recieved Dave

Hi Clocks must be digi mileage and be as close to 122k or slightly higher. WHY? Kind Regards Dave

Hello, My dash has just gone up in smoke, I have a replacement pod however the milleage from previous vehicle is still there when i plug it on. Is there any way I can change this? Would not be so bad but it has 30k more on it :confused4: Many thanks

Here is a pic with spare wire that needs to be plugged in somwhere http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4040/457 ... fbed_b.jpg also need to know which way around it goes eg brown to left yellow/black to right etc as it can be plugged in both ways. Hope I have explained everything clearly Cheers again

I have 1992 G60 After removing the drivers side undertray on dashboard there is a black multiplug with 6 dual wire sockets on the left hand side near the gear stick with 3 connectors at the moment and one which is not plugged in :( wires are brown and yellow/black. Just need to know from the top which one it goes into please as my car with not communcate with vag com etc without this in. Can provide pics if required Thanks all for your help

Thanks VR6 Alot more than I was thinking, Body needs a bit of tidying TBH but it aint a complete shed, just would be a nice daily hack corrado :clap: or perfect to turn into a track car as it has no sunroof

I have a 95(M) Corrado 8V and its now time to sell as Ive just replaced it with a MK4 Golf, still keeeping my G60 Though :D Non sunroof model Twighlight Violet Its done about 100k 8 months MOT No Service History Body has a few scuffs, dints and key marks down one side Needs a bit of TLC No leather or anything just bog standard I know nobody can give a exact price without seeing it, just want to know roughly what to expect for it Cheers All Dave

Could be idle stabilization valve(ISV) causing your idle problem 8)

Dont think there is anyway of changing the valves as I think its a sealed unit. I would advise swopping the pump first before bothering with the sensor's. Should be able to pick up a cheap pump for around £20ish 8) (ebay etc)

Im after a bit of information if anyone knows :notworthy: I have a MK1 Golf GTI 8v which was upgraded to a 2.0L many moons ago at stealth racing. Now that the bottom end as gone abit t*ts up I need a replacement crank shaft. I have contacted them, and they said it was from a corrado 2.0 16v but just need to know weather there is any identifying marks on a 2.0l 16 crank to be sure before I change it. Thanks all Dave

sorted 00525 as labda not connected, connected up and fault code gone :lol: Just down to these 2 errors now, 00516 (2121) Idle speed switch - F60 Open Circuit/Short with power 00540 Knock Sensor (2144) 2-G66 No Signal Error occurs intermitantly Any idea's anyone?
