  1. Will the gear ratio's be the same, mine is an 8v
  2. I have just aquired a corrado for my g/f, a 1995 2.0l 8V. However it used to be an automatic as per the log book. It has a manual gearbox at the mo but that is dead :( so I am after a replacement. I know car is all rigged up for a cable change gearbox but Im a little unsure what type of box to get. I want to keep it as standard as possible  so dont really want to put a 16v rado one on and I think, may be wrong Mk3 golf gearboxes are lever and not cable change. I Know passats are cable change but what model to look for I dont know :?: Any help would be appreciated Thanks

    Bootlid/Spoiler

Hi all, I have a bootlid which I am stripping, however managed to strip everything off except spoiler mechanism and wiper motor. The spolier is down at the moment and I think I need it up to take the mechanism off. Any body know what wires to apply a voltage to to get it up.. Cheers All
  16. Hi all. I have a 1992 G60 Corrado which I have had stood for a few months. before it was stood, the ABS light staid on Intermitantly. But now I have it back on the road its on all the time:(. I have cleaned all the sensors the best I can without taking them out cause it looks like you have to butcher them to get em out. But the light still stays on. Just wondered if anyone on here is near nottingham who has Vagcom with the 2x2 connection as mine is an older Corrado with the old connections who could kindly plug it on for me:). I know you can test the sensors using a multimeter and plugging that into the connections under the bonnet and rear seats, but is it just a voltage i am looking for to prove the sensor is working? Also I want some advise as Im interested in getting VAGCOM for myself as I have a laptop, just need the leads and software. Just wondered if you all could give me some advise on which particular lead and the best version of software to get and which is the most cost effective, want to get it up and running for a fair price. Thanks all for your time and help

Hello all, Have purchased a new spolier control unit so spoiler works automatically but I dont know where it is located. Can somebody tell me:) An easy one Im sure Thanks all
  19. Planning on going to CCGB at york if any kind soul wants to take a peek for me then  if I have not got it sorted by then. Just found a wiring diagram online (hurray) looks like spaghetti
  20. The wire which has been put on to the fuel pump relay pin is an earth which is about 3ft long and is screwd onto frame behind centre console so my plan is to try and trace the original earth from behind the relay, from the fuse box to where it eventually goes to see if it's been messed about with in any way. Can see this being a real headache :( :( :(
  21. Yes, it did have an old imoblilizer on at some point, have the paperwork for it. Going to have to try and find out where it goes :( :(
  22. Had an electrician to swop the fuse box already and I have swopped the ecu so i can discount both of them
  23. Tried about 3 different fuel pump relays and still the same :( :( :?:
