The Pierburg pump is the one pump system, this one does the same as the older types with the 2 pump. Every C after octobre '89 has one pump, standard is this a Pierburg. If you'll buy an new one at the dealer I've no idea if it's a bosch or a Pierburg, I know that the pumps that VW now has are competely different.
-
I change them every 2 years.
-
The newer type of in-tank pump isn't from bosch, it's a Pierburg. If you've got 2 pumps is the chanse big that they're both from bosch.
-
You can look under the car to see if you'll have 2 pumps, if not you'll only see the fuelfilter.
-
A '92 G60 is always one with one pump in the tank. New pumps aren't compatible with the old in tank system.
-
K&N filter gives also a better sound and if you're busy placeing such filter, remove the shaft out of the filterbox, this wil increase the sound and you'll hear the charger breathing.

The blue C is from member N°1 of the CCB, you can find him on the Corrado database in the top 30 of all the members on that site.

I would like another colour of wheels, but I have no idea which I should take. I have 17" BSA Racing wheels. I love shiney black, should I take black as new colour for this wheels?

Before installing such a small pulley, you'll better rebuild the charger, I'ts also imortant to look in wich state the charger is. A 3.5 bar fpr is not necessary with a 68mm pulley and chip, but it's alway better then the original fpr.

Nobody???

Heated washer nozzles is or was an option, so not every C has this "must have". I've got them, but my brother doesn't.
-
Since a couple of weeks has the C a ratle somewhere around the flywheel or gearbox, I'm afraid that the gearbox is coming to an end. I've got a 16v (AGC build from 04/89 till 07/90) gearbox in the garage, can I place this one in stead of an G60 (ATB build from 09/88 tiill 07/90)? The 16v box is shorter than the G60 one, the only negative thing on the AGC box is that the topspeed is much lower than the ATB box. Does some of you have some experience with this modification? The most important thing is that the main shaft is the same as the ATB box.

It isn't that we're in Europe, It's just a minister with to many time that invented this law, technical control is big busines and they didn't look at savety, but where they can find the money.
-
It's not that simple, here in Belgium we need a special locking system on the coilovers so we can't go lower than 9cm, hope you can understand what I'm saying? Since one year we've got a "tuning law", this should make tuning easy, at least that's what government says. With this law we even can't use approved material, such as Stabilizer Bars, Stress Bars, Big brake's (brembo, AP racing, ...), ... So approved material that make's the car safety is by law illegal, but it's legal to sell these parts, so the system doesn't work that well.
-
Maybe I should test the top speed again when my 17's are under the car.

Coilovers are a better alternative, but the technical control here in Belgium can give some problems with such suspension. We can't go lower than 9cm between the chassis and ground, you can go lower than that if you replace every year your springs before you'll go to the contol, so Weitec is a better solution if I replace every year my suspension, this way I could go lower than those 9cm law. To give you an idea how low the car is, it's about 7,5cm between ground and chassis, counted from the front suspension.
-
My suspension at the back should be replaced, one of the dampers is leaking. So I tought to replace all springs by new ones of Weitec Ultra GT series 60/60. The price of set of those is about 334€. Is this a good alternative to lowring your car? At this moment I've got standaard dampers and 60/60 lowered springs, so everything is better than this I guess. The site of weitec : http://www.weitec.de/2003/produkte/ultra.php?lang=en

There's one way to find out if you have one or two pumps, there's always one in the tank, the second one is undet the car before het right weel at the back. If you have 2 pumps, you'll see the fuelpump and filter, if you have one pump system then you'll se onley the fuel filter.

Supercharged, a 2L 16v is a new type of C and had only one pump in the tank, the one you're showing is the 1st pump of the two. Newer types of C, after octobre '89, has only one pump in the tank and has no telescope.

My G60 runs about 147Mph, this was clocked on the GPS unit, the cluster showed 152Mph and the car showed no sign of slowing down. The watertemp was 70°C, oil 118°C, this al at 6.000rpm. The mods : 68mm pulley, RS chip, adjustable cam pulley, 236°/273 camshaft, K&N replacement filter & 3.5 bar fuel pressure regulator.

I'm using a Bosch 3.5 bar fpr at the moment. Bosch part-number 0280.160.263

I bought myself a camshaft & adjustable cam pulley...

The green injectors could be used up to 220hp, here in the Benelux are more people with these modifications and stil running on the green injectors. If you go higher than 220hp, then you could have a problem, you should replace the green ones with grey injectors and also change the ECU unit with a chip for this setup. The engine runs at this moment to rich, the chip I've got is forsee for this mods, but it isn't ideal. I'm looking for a big intercooler, not a Golf G60 or a Rallye, but an intercooler that should be placed outside the frontbumper. After this mod, I'm goin' for a custom chip. An A/F meter is ordered and I hope to have it next week. -
I'v got such fuel pump and it's true that you've got to change te sender. The old pump is round and the newer types are oval, you've also need to change the + & - cables to make him work.

Everything works fine, the next thing is a big intercooler and a custom chip. -

A custom chip is also on the list, but the chip that I'm driving suports this cam, but it wil not give that some of extra power. The head is one with bigger in en outletchanels, they sey that porting overkill is at this moment.
