ive taken em all out, and then theres still the bracket holding it down clsoe to the speaker pod, ill take a look now mate. UR saying there are screws under the speaker grill, i never saw em, im gna chaeck it now. Cheers.

I cant get the door card off(94 model). Theres a bracket close to the speaker pods, whcih seems to be holding it down, and i cant get close enough to it to get it out without damaging my door card. Can anyone help please, i am trying to change my speakers as they are dud...................and i havent got too far.

I can hear it when i go over bumps, although i can feel it around the pedals. Looked at the estrutt mounts and i cant believe i gotta take the leg off again to do it. As for the driveshaft, better not be bust, i jusrt replaced that!

Phil, where do you take ur c?? I usually go basingstoke to designa dubs or matey in raynes park. As for the weight on the drive shaft, i had this part replaced, 2nd hand. Ill investigate that, as fot the strut mounting, im gna check under the plastic now to see if it clunks. Good lcu kwith ur valver mate, im not having too much myself.

phil please explain.....I get clunking from the driver side(can feel knocking and hear it close to brake pedal).Ive recently had my driveshaft wishbone and shock out, and replaced with 2nd hand parts....the noise continues......what do u mean by the weight on the drive shaft??? What could the problem be and what would need replacement?

wheels coming tomorrow...Ive already spent 400 buc on repairs and parts. All i thought i needed was a front bumper, but the list keeps building up. Oh well. I guess i need to hook it up to vag com then

I have no idea what u guys ate talking about lol I had a crash, and as a result the car is on 2 17s on the front and a 17 and space saver at the back.could this effect it??? Also the wheela rch linings are always knocking and rubbing could this cause some interefernce???? The car has ahad wishbone driveshaft and shock changed on the front.........the car still makes knocking sounds whichi can hear/feel from close to the brake pedal///// This is all trhe nfo onthe car, no with regard to vag com what is this?? And also what/where are the wheel sensors??? Thank sguys

ABS light comes on whilst driving, on aoccasions, it will dissapear after a "click" felt in the brake pedal..what is happening here please??? Is this gna cost me another load of cash?????? all help appreciated! I remember a note on this topic in the corrado manual, but all it says is contact a vw garage immediately lol.

shame to hear about ur c mate, mine went into a traffic island!!! I had to replace wishbone, drive shaft, ront driverside shock, cross member, 2 alloy wheels, front bumper, floor lining, etc. Came to a total of around 500 buc, incl labour charges. All as a result of hastey driving. my brother had a similar accident in his mk2 golf, wheel bearing went as he was driving and the rear passenger side wheel went flying off at 45 mph. not a pretty sight. These things happen though, it just goes to show u cant take corrado ownership for granted. You gotta treat these cars liek queens or they turn into right bitches. Or as my mrs would say, " I told you to get a sensible car"........ what she doesnt know is that the c is back next tuesday.. 8)

I need a fuel pump for my corrad o2.0 16v I have been quoted 78 plus vat by GSF(not incl fuel pum,p) is this a fair price?

well in fairness since i bought my 2.0 16 valve,its cost me 250 for brand new tyres all round(had to replace two of them recently) 200 to replace damaged rims(recent) 500 for service, brakes, cams, wiring, fuse box, cambelt, timing belts 70 for water pump, 300 for damaged wishbone, cross member and fuel line(recent) 300 for respray on front, back and touch ups(recent) and thousands for petrol!!!!! so dont worry, im used to wasting my money!!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

yeh that was the cars, and they were on their way brack from brighton down the a3 into central............and there was only 2 of em. I watched top gear, we all though t they might have shown the cars view as we all convoyed for about 200m before i got impatieint and sped off. Shame, i was really hoping they might have shown it. Oh well.. ANd furthermore, im looking out for a 944 for mself to replace the c!!

CAR IS BACK TOMORROW. CANT WAIT! no chasis damage at all! Just need to buy a front bumper now and 1 alloy wheel.
