yeh i have, it was a really harsh sraping squeeking sound, its intermittent, but not that often, and after harsh braking it stopped....my mates g60 has same prob, and he was told caliper. My pads and sdiscs are fine although after the accident, my suspension has had numerous probs thanks to RMS garage in raynes park, who charge you for work they have no idea wtf they are doing.....

nothing at all, although my cars recovering from a minor accident, and the sound came after goin over a speed bump, and scraping the splitter quite badly. id take it to a garage but cash is tight right now.

the most disgusting intermittent scraping noise ever, coming fornt the fornt of the car. May be the calipers i dont know??? but it kinds sounds like metal scraping, and metal scraping and clanging on the floor as well. nothing hanging loose though??? And now my car wont start as well?????

also , i do not know whether this is related to the problem, but just above the air filter a brown wire is disconnected??? no idea what it is, but if i touch it against a metal bracket just below the strut mount, the radiator fans starts goin off???

can anyone help me, i was listening to the radio earlier, and killed the battery off, recharged and the car wont start...ive had this prob before with the starter motor intermittently, but it usually kick s back in. ive tried everything, and to no avail.

heh heh. Ive got a similar noise, and its from the camber set up, the wheels are rubbing on the corners of the arch trim. Going merityre NOW

fla, im in kingston. BUT my garage isnt big enough to spray in. my front bumper is KO, needs replacement, or atleast a spot of filler and respray. PM me and keep in contact, im probably too lazy to do it now.lol.but maybe a month or 2.

How much should i be paying for my front bumper, back bumper, side skirts, bonnet,rear diffuser, back panel and ................... eyebrow being sprayed.....Anyone from surrey know of a good body shop??? Ive had a quote from paynes and vw and they pretty much ended right there. Baileys in new malden said around 750, or 900 all in incl flushing my roof and tailgate. If i do it bit by bit, its gna come up to a lot more, so jus wna deal with it now.

I made the mistake of buying 17x7 wheels. Crappy set up on spacers, wish id bought some 16s for better handling. And make em 16x9 whilst ur there!!

how tricky would it be to smoke the lights then? And indicator bulbs are only a couple of quid arent they?

I was watching WHEELER DEALER the other day, and they did the same to an MG.... He used some sort of t cut mixture, applied it to the bonnet, and pulled out a buffing machine. The car looked brand new!!! Any tips on doing this, as my roof/bonnet has found home to a cat.

I got that too. Prob ur driveshaft/cv joint. Mine is from the camber set up, so rubbing every time the car slams down.
