For most things the delivery charge is the same. Some Companies I have dealt with have tried to use it as an excuse to charge a bit more on top though. I'll check my funds and let you know if I'm a definite. If I do go for one, they could maybe cut the IOM delivery cost by sending mine and Phil's to one address. Just a thought :) (Thanks for arranging this Jedi btw))

Stickified. So is the £295 to your door or do you have to pay for additional carriage from Discount Auto-parts to your door?
-
and for the one alarm Company over here that's running a monopoly.......£500 for a Meta CAT 1 system.
-
Hence the move to General.

Hehe - well he's either asking how much his car is worth, or he is selling a car

Sorry, but good luck at getting it anywhere near or under £1500 TPFT. -
Crap ...... just realised that my tax might have run out!! Ah well, there's another £170!

Unless it's really cheap, I'd forget the automatic. Just IMO.

Think I got away lightly there!

I've seen this guy trying to sell Corrado stuff before (he was trying to sell me a Corrado interior, but luckily I'm naturally suspicious!). http://www.performancevwmag.com/forum/t ... hichpage=1

I think we can safely lock this one now.

This is the actual buyers guide http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=5124 The one posted before is the draft guide - a sort of work in progress. There is also a Word document checklist at the bottom which is a cut-down version.

Well done Alex! :) How long have you organising the ACE Cafe events?

I dunno really - I think it shows a good history of how the wiper mod has come about :) Maybe I'm just sad like that i dunno tom... i think you'll find the whole lup[o wiper mod was noticed when Kieron Johnson had a passat as a hire car, the scanned the ETKA and found that the lupo used the same size wipers as the C. You gonna post a link to the Yahho group too...:lol: What I was trying to say was more like......well if you're going to delete the unnecessary bits, why not just lock this thread, start a new one just with the part numbers in, lock that and make it a sticky. It's not exactly difficult for people to extract the part numbers from this thread. Edit: Once people actually agree on which are the correct part numbers! But that's a whole other matter.

http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewto ... highlight= Just one of the recent threads. Search for carpet and there are a few more good threads that should give you something to start on :) HTH
-
I know......we could get rid of the separate forums and just have one big forum for every single topic. Let's have porn everywhere and 100 threads about broken door handles and lupo wipers.

Insurance is mad. Just when you think you've figured it out, they come up with another crazy policy! I used to always have the 'drive any other car 3rd party' on my policy. Now I'm being told that company policy has changed and I have to be 25. I gently explained that I was insuring a group 18 190bhp car fully comp and they wouldn't cover me to drive, say my Mum's (80bhp??) mk3 1.8 Golf Driver, because of company policy. The woman agreed it was daft but that was just their stance on the matter. Big pain in the arse really as it used to be handy if you needed to drive another car for whatever reason. Is it maybe because people have been exploiting it? An 18 year old owns and insures his own 2CV. He then gets his Dad to own and insure a Corrado VR6 (for arguments sake ;)), nice and cheaply. Laddo is then insured to drive said VR6, ok granted, only 3rd party, but at least he's driving it legally.
