just had my thermostat housing replaced after a big leak and i am not sure how hot he motor should run. on a long run the temp used to show 70 degrees or just above climbing to 90 in traffic or moving slow. now it shows about 90 all the time, which is the middle notch on the eng temp gauge. just wondered if this is hot or am i paranoid?? it is a 94 vr6 with 94k on the clock. it is standard engine wise. any help much appreciated even just to put my mind at rest. i always worry bout the car and i would seriously cry if she died! :cry:

i am around the bexhill area and work in eastbourne. i have ahd my corrado for about 5 months(time flies) and i have never seen another in the area. would be nice to have a few people to give a shout when all is not well with the car.

i live in east sussex and hardly ever see another corrado! is there any corrado owners meets or anything just general vw similar to j29 in essex? be nice to see a few more in the area instead of the general saxo, type arse and calibra shite.

have many people had run ins with civic type arse. one tried followed me the other day as i was bimbling along onto dual carriage way and i absolutley destroyed him. my corrado is standard too (lowered now). no offence if anyone has one but they are becoming the new saxo, dubbed the clitoris because every C****s got one!

ne one got avons on their rado? my mates got some (directional but can't remember the name) performance ones on his and really rates them. they r about 70 quid a corner tho? gonna replace my dunlop sport3000 which are shit and pirrelli p600 which are good but not very sporty

what are the best standard size tyres to run on my vr6?? got dunlop sport 3000 on the front and i don'trate them very much. toyo proxes t1s any good???

got the supersports on mine and they r a bit hard and bouncy but mine re loosening up. does look cool too. mine is quite low at the moment so i might raise them up a bit but i have no idea whether this will affect the ride at all. :D

garage say flange onto the head and is gonna sort it for me. well sound mill gap garage in eastbourne. vw/audi specialist. little greasy place. u love it. cheers for all the help guys :D

it doesn't have air con. drips off the bottom of the gearbox side. i think it might be a hose or the rad, but seems further back in the engine. i'll get the garage to sort it out and get it ready for santa pod!!!

my car has a steady water leak that has gotten worse over the last few days. i think i can see a hose that needs replacing as it is covered in white residue but the worru=ying thin is when the car has been turned off cold water drips from underneath the engine (alot) even when engine has been driven hard, the water should be warm surely. i am v worried and even my mechanic mates are stumped for a reason. please help. :cry:

geordiedubber, yeah i rang them (venom) for the spax but now i've bitten the bullet and ordered some fk coilovers and blown the 200 quid budget!!! slammin it sat!! where bouts in ne are u? i no it quite well. consett, newcastle and all that. baja and buffalo joes u no what i mean! hardly saw ne rados up there and even less people to show the vr6 power! all pussy saxos ! :D

in the quest to lower my vr, are spax any good? any one got them on, whats the ride like??? ne one no bout raceland stuff?? ne good?? i gotta do it asap cos shocks are cained but don't want to wreck the ride! cheers dudes

thanks for all the advice guys. chatted to c+r who said the kit lowers 40mm but is rock hard and will need either powerflex bumpstops on the front (cheap option) or a "comfort kit" at £110 to update to mk4 front sus set up with the rado dampers and springs. is this neccessary? has anyone run the kits (i'm talking nonadjustable ride height) without the comfort pack and broken anything (top mounts etc) i am perplexed. my mate runs RACELAND stuff on his which rides really well and he ahs had no probs. any one had any experience good or bad with their kit?? their kit lowers 35mm. is thi enough?? is the stuff rubbish? thanks matt_corradovr6 :D

vrev6II, but is the ride really rock hard or is it pretty bearable. i drive down south and some of the roads are shit so i don't want anything too crashy. whats the qualty of the gear like?? does it look the bizzo? cheers :roll:

my shocks and springs are wrecked so i'm gonna use this excuse to lower my car. been reading a few bits and wondered peoples thoughts on weitec suspension. where is the best place to get it from, i can't find anyone who sells it, just seen the full ads in pvw. i'm looking to drop it bout 40-60mm, and don't want anything too rock solid but i do wanna improve the handling aswell as the looks. cheers boys and girls how good are corrados by the way, i bloody love mine!!!!

the blowers in my vr6 are stuck to blow into the footwells and will not adjust to the windscreen. i have heard from two different sources that this is a nightmare (dash out) and costly repair, or that all is needed is to undo a few screws to get behind the centre console and reattach/repair a couple of cables. having not owned it very long, i am not upto speed with how difficult this is going to be to fix. still love the car tho and reckon its character and not faults! :roll:
