Mate please dont be disheartened!! i felt the same when my gearbox went! i am yet to see your Corrado but from what i have heard it is a good car! but once you get the car and you drive it then you will change your mind!

LOL, i will have to get someone to do that!! i love the Corrado's in Black! i cudnt find one when i purchased mine! i found the next best thing!

i am having the same problem took the blue temp sensor, car started and ran smooth one i plugged it back in, it started idling eratic and ran really rough!! what is the part number and can it be bought from GSF?? and is it idiot proof that i can fit it??

I work for the BBC, i talk to the team at Top gear on a regular basis i always ask, the only thing they say is that it is a normal guy! he jus some ex racing driver (no one special) all they knew is he drives an S3

The one things that gets on my friends nerves is how we all wave or do the thumbs up when we see a fellow Corrado Also i will never say that my corrado is better than another one that i see! this really annoys people! then they call me sad! but who cares! Work People tend to take the P out of my car for being a boy racer! but that never bothers me!

Kev, that was Vince who took a look and priced them up. it basically snapped alot of bits inside the gearbox i nearly fell off my desk!

Craig, its gone past that, i checked it last week from the engine bay, and i could get all the gears except the first and second, i had a gearbox garage checked it and then i sent it to Stealth who quoted on just parts, £700. i decided that i would try and get a new gearbox and it has cost me £250. shud be fitted today!!

No worries guys, i have managed to get one! i got confused because the guy at the salvage yard was telling me there were two types of MK3 16V boxes! i have the correct information!!
