just had the gearbox into stealth and the gearbox is in a bad state. i need to find another gearbox, what code do i need to look out for if i want to purchase a new Golf Mk3 gearbox??

Have got a corrado g60 with a MK3 Golf gti gear box! tried to put them in when the car is off as well and no joy! all the other gears go in perfect!

People i have a problem, driving back from my day out and i came of the dual carridgeway and i cant get 1st or 2nd gear! :cry: Any suggestions as to what it could be? i can get all other gears and i can get reverse. but it just wont go into 1st or 2nd gear! any help would be very appreciated :D

yeah it was a good day! til the rain came down! was funny on the tracks! those scoobies and evo handles so good in teh wet! was amazed! glAD I didnt take the Rado, wudnt have got out the car park! LOL

i had a mate do that on a old Renault he owned! he ended up wid burns on his arms and top of his forehead! NOT NICE! i was just saying to him that it will spray it everywhere! he didnt listen and i just managed to turn away! it went every where! it wasnt nice!

Ask for a refund and give them a right telling off! Why cant garages carry out work properly! they charge enough for it!

I got followed home a few weeks ago!! i left my work and this car went exactly where i was going! there were three lads in the car! i just went home and they pulled over had a good look at decided to drive off! i did the same by taking the number plate when i got inside the house! why cant people just work like all of us and go out n buy a decent car! flippin tramps!

I work at Whiteladies Road in Bristol and i always see a green VR6 with 17 inch alloys! Anyone here?? u live on the same road as where our entry is to get into the BBC.

Mate, i had the same problem last time! i got some spray grease and stuck it in via the little straw and sprayed it in. left it for 15 mins and it suddenly let me open it! Also it was much easier to open after that!

i did exactly the same thing! its so annoying having to get in through the passenger door! looks really embarassing when getting in the car! LOL the handles are quiet hard to get hold off at the scrappies! i think i will be forced into purchasing a new one!

Guys, i managed to mess up the replacement of my coolant by pouring it through the expansion tank. now it either runs cold or too warm. Whats the best possible solution for this??
