Does anybody speak German cos ive just bought some new rear lights for my C on ebay and the guy is in Germany. All the emails he has sent me are in German and ive told him that i live in the uk and dont speak German. Can any body translate for me. Cheers J

I heard from someone the other day that you can buy an uprated loom. Is this right? and does anybody know where from and how much.

I know all to well that Corrados have got headlight issues, mine are so bad sometimes that i dont know why i even turn them on. I was going to do the headlight mod that ive found on this forum, but my mate has just given me some brand new still in box 100w Xenon headlight bulbs that fit my car. I think that my lights are only about 55w is this right? and do you think the 100w bulbs will make a diffrence. If they do then im still gonna do the mod and uprate the wires, relays and fuses to suit the new bulbs. Cheers J

I always use optimax nothing else, and have used it for my other cars in the past with no problem.

The earth at the starter was a bit loose so tight now and with some wd40 and a wire brush its clean now aswell. Checked the other earth points and the ignition whille i was at it and they look fine but saying that car electrics were never my strong point. After sorting the earth it does seem to start a little better but not as good as i would like. I have only had the car a month and i think it had been sat in the guys garage for a couple of months and im gonna give it a damm good service this weekend and see what happens from there.

Yes the starter doesnt turn at first so i will try the earths I will let you know Cheers j

Hi ive got a 1.8 16v on an h plate and ive only had it 3 weeks but the last couple of days theres been a problem starting her from cold. When i try to start nothing happens unless i keep the key turned for about 2-3 seconds, then it trys to turn over for an unpredictable amount of time before starting on only 2-3 cylinders then if you touch the gas its fine and purrs away as if nothing is wrong. If i start her when warm then everything starts up right. Anybody else had this problem. Cheers J

Im away this weekend, so i will try that on monday,ill let you know how i get on. And yes the belts are out of a Corrado so they should fit.

My car has no rear seat belts, someone must have taken them out in the past, so i bought some of a guy down the road from me, he said that they were tested and they were cheap so i brought them home. The problem is that they have curled up as they should and wont uncurl no matter what i do with them, ive never really worked with seatbelts before. can any one help. Cheers J

Ive just bought my first Corrado after wanting one for ages. Its a 1990 1.8 16v and the only problem i have with it is that the sunroof tilts but doesnt slide, when you push the button the motor starts and it trys to go back but seems to get stuck. Can anybody help. Cheers J.
