  5. Yes sorry its a valver. I just swaped the leads over one by one being very carfull so that they were in the right places. Ive put a new fuel filter and wheel bearings on today but havent started it yet as it got dark so its still on the stands till morning. I didnt see anything wrong with fuel pipes or anything else and as the MOT guy said everything is perfect under the car.
  6. All i know is that my mum wants one

    Which Amp

 Hang on £100, wheres my fiver
  8. Hi guys, Ive got a problem with my car and hoped you could help. Ive made a list 1 - At idle revs jumps around from 1000-1500ish. 2 - Car is very jumpy at low revs/gears (like kangaroo petrol) 3 - Smell of fuel from exhaust but not all the time. 4 - MPG from MFA (I know its not gonna be 100% acc) at best driving like a 90 year old nun 24MPG. I did buy a new rotor and dizzy cap last month and them were a bit smaller than the ones I took off but they fit on the dizzy so left them on (and cos I broke the orig rotor), but the black plastic cover for the cap wouldn’t fit so I left it off. Should I replace them with ones the same as before, could it make a difference. Ive got a new fuel filter cos the one on the car looks really old and battered and some rear bearings that im gonna fit tomorrow as I have the day off work so ill have a look at all the fuel pipes but they were fine at the MOT in September so im not expecting to find anything wrong there. Ive had a look through 2500ish posts on a searchs and found one about turning the mixture down on the metering head as a quick fix should i do this as i cant get the car to my brother (Audi spanner monkey) til next month. Thanks for your help in advance J Ive also just noticed that im a CF Enthusiast :D 8) :D
  9. Certainly is but the driver's side one will stick into the boot a bit more as that arch has less space due to the C/L pump and petrol filling arrangements. I was thinking of using that side for an amp rack if it's too small for a decent size enclosure. Ive got two subs :D so would need two made for me. I was gonna make some myself but im sure i couldnt make them as good
  10. Depends on price but i might be interested in TWO on for each side if thats poss.

    Rear Fog Lights

When i changed my orig lights to In pro ones i noticed that the near side fog hole  was blanked off on the orig ones, so i put a new bulb in the holder and it worked so i have both now :D
  15. So which ones do then, what should i buy if i need one.
  16. I think im right in sayin that they turn as there pushed back, I might be compleatly wrong as i havent done it yet!!! but i remember someone telling me that a while ago.
  17. LOL Whats his insurance co gonna say when they see that After a second look (this might just be me but) the pics look a bit suspect to me. That second one of the deer looks a but funny  and theres a hell of a lot of blood in strange places unless the driver was killed aswell.
  18. To damm right. He called back and said that we can go and pick up the car. When we got there he said that cos shes had alloys, amp/sub fitted that it voids the warranty and that she needs to pay £100  so she gave him £40 and said **** *** she only paid that cos she needs to get to work. It was the warm up relay that had blown. Got another prob now though she noticed as driving home that the speedo/rev counter and temp gauges arnt working at all only the fuel one god knows whats wrong with them but its gonna go back tomorrow to be fixed for free hopefully
  19. Ive just had the garge on thr phone and told me that the amp cable that i fitted to the car has drained the glow plugs of power!!!!!! and that it needs new relays because of this!!!!!!!! Now the amp wiring kit has been fitted for over 3 months with no problems (and properly fitted) and how would it need new relays. I think hes talkin bollocks anybody think hes right?
  20. It being picked up in the morning so ill find out sometime tomorrow. Saxo's
  21. The light doesnt come on at all !!!!!!!!!!
  22. I was thinking about doing this and thats a very good point.
  23. Hi, I have a problem with my g/f's Saxo. Its a '01 1.5 Diesel and not knowing anything about diesel cars im a bit stuck, last night it took a bit longer to start but fired up and went ok but this morning i noticed that the pre warm up lamp on the dash didn’t come on and the car will turn over but not start. I have checked all the fuses and there fine. Its still under warranty with the garage that i bought it from so ive called them and he suggested that its the keyfob not turning the immobiliser off so i got a new battery for it and still no joy. He came up from the garage with another bloke and had a look and then tried jumping it off his jeep but nothing it just turns over on the starter and spits a load of smoke out. He’s gonna get a flatbed to pick it up tomorrow and take it to a sparky but im just wondering if anybody on her might have a clue. Cheers J
  24. I think everybody should have one of these
