  1. I've got a 95vr with the diavia air con so assumed i needed the longer belt, is this correct....excuse my ignorance? if the weather is ok tomorrow i'm going to double check that all the pulleys are actually working properly
  2. I've managed to get the belt on, but I can't get it to stay on! The tensioner looks to be doing its job but the belt just keeps creeping off. i noticed that one of the two centre pulleys is quite smooth, is this supposed to be like this?
  3. Thanks guys, I was thinking about having a go myself so you've just given me the kick I needed. My local VW stealer wanted £76 for the belt but I've managed to get one for £26 via a specialist in Cardiff!
  4. My auxiliary belt has come off and i need to get the car to a garage so i can get it on the ramp. The garage is about 2 miles away so can i drive the car without doing any further damage. I know i wont have the servo brakes or the power steering but i dont want to wreck anything else
  5. Hi Matt Received mine a few days.....been a bit busy. Thanks again mate
  6. This is was a bit more tricky because of the angle and reflections. Need to spend more time doing it really, but it gives you an idea what it would look like. But i think you should leave well alone the corrado looks cool as it is.
  7. Just renewed with Admiral £290......I am 42 though :D
  8. Sorry, I got bored while working! does this look ok
  9. Hi Mate, if you have any looms left i'll take one. As its been winter here in S. Wales for the past few months I've realised I need to do something about my lights!!!

    Suspension Help

Rang my garage about the pedal sensor. The fault showed up initially as the sensor but then cleared, but the symptoms are still there. They tried to get a new pedal sensor but failed, so anybody know where I can get one from or what the part number is? Also the garage said that their VAGCOM didnt fit my car? does this make sense? they been using some other software. i'm ignorant on most matters technical....on a very big learning curve!

    Suspension Help

Hi guys, well earlier on I went to collect my car from the garage. It had had an MOT, service, new discs & pads on the back, new bearing on the back, new ABS sensor on the back and the correct top plates fitted on to the eibachs!! I drove the car for 5 minutes then as I went to crawl over a speed bump the ABS pump starts whirring for no reason and brakes go on, when I touch the pedal they release!!! So the cars back in the garage! Anyway, for those 5 minutes I had the car it was like driving a completely new corrado. What a difference those top plates have made, thanks so much guys! Its now made me realise how bad the handling was. Whoever had the car before me had put the later top plates on, so when I bought it I didint know any different. For 5 mins this afternoon it felt like I was driving a corrado for the first time!! Thanks again.

Thanks for all your help guys. So does the older plate fit in the newer car ok? or does it need to modified in any way?
