my passenger side light has stop working, the bulb is fine, i replaced it, then checked it worked in the other side and it's fine, i have no reason to think it's the fuse as the drivers light works. Is there a fault that it could be in the actual unit that holds the bulbs or would it be something with wiring? Please help! Neil

yep its a big 24 nut, i like my 24 size nuts, lol. i was suprised how easy it was.

argeed, how dop i get around this then without taking the lock apart as my alarm always beeps twice to tell me the light is on, or off as i have taken the bulb out?

What are the common faults for them to stay on all the time even when the switch is pressed in by hand? how do i check if it is totaly knackered or just lose or anything? and if it is dead, where can i get one from? thanks, Neil

Friday 18th :- Had a new alarm fitted friday night:- weather was freezing like -10 Saturday:- Car wouldnt start, Battery dead, no charge what so ever, think it might be the new alarm Saturday night- tried to see if it was the alarm, maybe a fault with it? Sunday: - very cold walk to work, no car! Monday night: brought new battery, fitted it in -0 temperatures, car starts. Also took boot light bulb out as after reading a thred on here mym switch had broken which meant the light was on 24/7, obvioulsy not helping my battery.

i got one for about £24ish from GSF, prise the clips off FROM THE PLASTIC SIDE, not the glass side, then once off, DO NOT touch the silver reflector at the back, this will come off as mine did! and when re-fitting, put the metal clips on the glass part then ease them ONTO the placstic, if you do it the other way round the glass can smash!
