ah right so im thinking a VERY dodgy switch then!
-
Im not sure if it is used with the charger but on the RIGHT stalk you will see a slider button and a press button on the END of it, press the end one various times to give you different read outs:- (might not be in correct order) time/time traveling/miles covered/oil temp/outside temp then the slider button, slide it to the right one notch and it will the read out the 2nd lot of information, i do believe that the time traveling and distance will be different as the 1st lot is since engine start or in last hour or something. bet i've just confused you, but i know what i meant!

will that be the problem, that missing wire? should there be one there? How easy are they to replace?
-
so there are no fule lines or anything to worry about, i know on the drivers side there is the fuel filter/pump so thats a no no, but is the passenger side good for it?

ok UPDATE! After trying a mk2 golf switch, didnt work as it didnt have the dimmer connections on it, This is the switch i tried... Mk2 golf switch on the right corrado one on the left... And on my switch currently in the car i noticed a hole where there was a connector and NO wire? (the one cirlced in red) Should this space have a wire in it? i thought id try my light switch NOT in the dash, and i realised my car could of caught fire at any time! As you watch the video, you can see me moving the dimmer switch up and down, as it gets towards the top(you can see it) it then HEATS up the dimmer copper wire on the unit! If i put the switch all the way up to top it then Puts the dash lights on, (without the keys in the igintion) Video here..... http://www.stuffing.freeserve.co.uk/light.avi Please let me know what you guys think, OBVIOUSLY ill be getting a new switch, but will this cure my dash/lights problems? Neil

I have a leter model 1992 C. are there any other cars that have the C's headlight switch i could use to see if my problems are related to the switch? I've heard the MK2 golf has the same, is this true?

I've done a search and nothing came back about this... I have seen some C's with side exit exhausts and smooth rear bumpers, My question is, If im Spending £300 on a new cat back system how easy/hard are the side exit system to do? What involved, anybody got any under body pictures? Neil
-
also the fan blower works with the side lights on and no key in the ignition? anyone any ideas?
-
that red one is gorgeous! but where is the exhaust!
-

not as far as i know, i've only had the car for about 5 months now, not had the dash out myself but the little covers for the screws are missing so i'm guessing its been out sometime in its life? I'm hoping to check if any wires have been hacked or anything. But if anyone has any ideas, im open to offers!

My dash lights(speedo, water, revs etc) are always on when my iginition is on, which means that for some reason the illumination is wired up to the iginiton live rather then the dimmer switch, strange! but when i move the dimmer switch, with the ignition on, it dims the actualy GREEN LED around the light icon on the switch. If i move the dimmer with the lights switch on to either dim or main beem, it doesnt do anything at all to any lights? Has anybody any idea where i might be best to start looking? Dash out? check relays? fuses? wiring? Thanks if anyone can help! Neil

this will be your problem here is how to fix it, i've just done this myself and its not that hard... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... ght+switch

-
hard to wire up, specially the oil pressure one?
-
id be insterested in the backlit gauges, they look very nice, for £60 they aint too bad either!
-
how hard is it to wire up the voltmeter and oil preassure? would you say its a nice addition to the dash?
-
ah, ive got a standard 2ltr 16v, maybe volts, or something like that, i have a desent install in my boot? what does the oil PSI do to help inform me about?
-
