Hello mate i had that prob i put my solution in the common c questions section but basically it was the bowden cables not opening the hot cold air flap properly they were sticking so i pushed it to hot and thats where its gonna stay till spring! easy enought its on the left of the centre console just whip the passenger under dash bins off and its the cable nearest you. it might also be the plastic cog that operates it has fallen off or broken whicgh is cheap and easy to replace.

does it fit with the std pipe work?

whats a rsr outlet whats it do where can i get one do i need one!! im starting with my engine bay doing every thing i can think of then moving onto the interior then body then wheels just trying to tink of everthing possible i might want to do to the engine bay before i close it and start elsewhere yeah right like itll stay closed for 5 minutes!!

ive got powerflex everywhere front and rear on mine doesnt squeak but is a bit harsh until you dial in the right amount of rebound and compression damping as i found out this week!

i did the cvs with the ball joints in situ just un do the bolts at the box then turn it to lock the driveshaft will fall down undo axle bolt with wheels on floor first though

i may do but ive got avos and they use a new spring top plate

do gsf do them are they any good vag isnt bad at 33 inc vat but you know some things gsf do are made by the oe manufacturer anyway for 1/2 the price!

ive just noticed i only have one fog and reverse light the other side has bulbs in it but no connector running to it it hasnt been chopped out its just not there i suppose i could just run the loom over to that side too? where could i get the plugs from anyone got a spare set?

Right i saw some chrome handles for a an early c on trimsports site as we know they dont do them any more but are the same as a mk3 handles so i got some chrome ones for a mk3 and they look more like late c's handles do i have to change to later handle surrounds?

for one ball joint? thats well over the top they are 17 quid from vag and fitting on my car was 55 for two including laser alignment its about a 5 min job when its up on a lift.

Is it best to go with vag top mounts on my g60? or are the gsf ones any good? its my last piece in the new chassis puzzle does any one do uprated ones? i seem to remember bonrath did some for the golf?

first thing to do its take off the passenger side cubby hole arrangement look into the side of the centre console there is two cables the one nerest you has a large lever attached to it move the heater control check if this is going through its full range of movement if not unclip the wire (just push it off its post) then push it away from you as far as it will go push the heater control to cold reconnect the wire then move to hot the this will shoe you if the wire is pushing the arm far enough if it oly moves a bit try moving it with your hand (towards you) then check heater temp this is by far the easiest test i spent a day under my car to find the cable was snagging took 5 mins to fix!! when i say towards you and away from you i am assuming your are in the passenger footwell!!!

has anyone else got azev a's?? always see them on mk2 golfs but not on c's im undecided if they suit the car they are very angular what i really want is my old rh classic line 17" that i had on my mk2 golf they were beautiful sold it to a mate they got bent shartly after :mad: i only paid 150 for a set of 4 brand new beautiful wheels deep deep dish :D never seen a set since those lovely curved spokes with polished faces black on the inside i miss those wheels how sad is that!!!!
