i thought my ht leads were shot as my car runs on three when cold for about a minute and also takes a while to fire up when its hot its on the button. ive done the fuel filter the rotor arm dizzy cap and the leads. im thinking maybe the injectors as it occaisionally has flat spots when accelerating hard but these soon clear up maybe i have some crap in my injectors? any ideas or other things to check cheers in advance :wink:

yeah i got the flex head ratchet spanners brilliant very handy tools the chests are nice to as long as you get the pro ones. ive got some mac tools too and there very cheap feeling even though there mega bucks.

go for the single seater the others are still road cars they arent made for the track from my motorbike days road bikes were pants on the track i raced a honda and had a ducati on the road i always used the honda on the track even if you know a tiny bit about motorbikes youll know thats a big difference ie ducati is a dream bike! but if you want the track experience its got to be the track based car ive taken a van diemen around brands wow it was amazing no horse power but handling you wouldnt believe!!!!

arggggh makes me soo mad i backed out of my drive and an old biddy from the church opposite rammed into the side of me as i was about to set off completely her fault she said sorry my fault car gets fixed (not the c) and bam get a letter saying its my fault from my insurance company wtf? i said look at the damage how can i make someone hit the side of me?? they say no way can damage form part of a claim im lost??

just wondered if anyone had a good alternative to snap on ive got a lot of their stuff but just wondered if anyone had found any other good suppliers of tools as SO are so expensive and some of the stuf really isnt great quality there are a few german names bergin? kicking around on egay but ive never tried them. got a few halfords profesional and there pretty good too there tool boxes are as good if not better than snap on!

its a nakamichi its about a quater of the uk retail and they are amazing need radio though need someone to talk to on those lonely drives!!!

it does feel a bit quicker and it takes a few turns to start unless its hot or been sitting for a while like a couple days, other than that there arent any other differences really

iv just fitted a new fuel filter and the fuel economy has taken a bit of a dive any ideas why? ive got a jabba chip ive heard they arent good for economy anyway but i used to get about 29 if i didnt boot it cant get anywhere near that now.

does anyone know if theres any radio probs with fitting a us spec headunit really want a nakamichi and there so cheap in the us.

its an easy job just whip the pas pump bracket off and undo two bolts on the thermostat cover but more than likely it will be your temp sender they are so temperamental.

or and i hate to say it a knackered head gasket which is leaking exhaust gases and pressurizing the water system this happened to a car i had cough a ford!! :oops: . hope its not that matey!!!

best ive done is use one of those gaitor grip sockest the ones that fit any size bolts with loadsa little pins inside, this is the only really use for these dont use it for anything else they are appalling!

take off the pas pump bracket then its really easy to fit the small one

yeah i suppose im a bit harsh on my local parts monkey hes alright and he knows my mobile number off by heart ive only had the car 2 months!! whenever i order two of something i always get one for some reason?

they are fantastic the hardest thing is pursuading the vag monkey that no there not for a lupo and yes you want two drivers side ones apart from that the job is as easy as anything
