silencer kits......they are definately for girls! if youre even considering it then buy one they transform the g60 into a beast and remove all of the worry of g-lader rebuilds why anyone would want a vr over one no idea ( oh yeah the noise would drive you mad everyday!) also the coolest thing after no rice we wnet down th eroad to turn round to go north bound and the golf that pulled up next to us had a lysholm as well! wasnt as quick as mine not sure of his set up. he was chatting to darren at no rice

maybe right that might be why they were on offer i think its fairly simple to make one yourself though.

just playing with a few ideas to tidy the bay up really moving things if they still work then great!The isv works fine there it looks a bit funny as it isnt secured yet but plan to fab an ally bracket so its securely mounted. want to smooth the front of the inlet so all the pipes come out the back as well.

sorry can you speak up?? :lol: it is loud but no where near as loud as i expected and cruising noise is very pleasant you can still talk and listen to tunes. it would annoy me if it was my daily and id get a silencer kit which bbm are doing very cheap at the minute.

yeah bought hardly used (basically ran in for me so cheers james!) runing a std pulley 60mm i believe boosts so hard the car really flies much much quicker than it was with a g-lader but still more to come smaller pulley and a remap pics attached kinda mid way through my bay cleaning get my polished alt back tomorrow then its all wires in the chassis legs and smothed legs and bay sides when shes repainted.

oh yes i was lured by the wail of the twin screw charger and flippin fantastic it is too ill get some bay pics up soon.

if its split neat the t piece you can just get a new t piece from halfords if it gone at the end put a joiner in the middle so the hose gets longer at the end if you see what i mean.

are ya rich? if not then best bet is a valver but if you have a credit card :lol: go for a g60 or vr there isnt much between them price wise unless you're talking low mileage vrs at which point they do get pricy the g60 and vr drink more and cost more to fix engine probs but they are very reliable if you look after them correctly if i was starting again id go for a vr and charge it. but there is something very addictive about a supercharged 1800 screaming away that you cant beat where are you if you want a drive i have both.

i guess he does sam would be nice if you could get a tuned inlet that sat away from the exhaust a bit more.

i think it provides the ecu with an air pressure/ density measurement?
