anyone know where the valvers thermostat is? i thought it was i the same place as an 8v obviously not though!

or could it be an airlock? do you fill the valvers the same as the g60?

i bypassed the valvers matrix yuesterday after it finally let go driving it to day it seems that in traffic its over heating and on a run its sitting at 100 deg. the fan doesnt seem to be coming on for very long and the rad isnt getting very hot. could it be the thermostat? i also noticed the rad top hose is balloning rather a lot.

read that it is possible but has anyone done it? valver blew its today so i need to sort it asap or ill see what its like with a 12v heater!

drove the valver all day today! its lovely driving a car that has cost absolutely nothing! i can feel it getting looser the more miles i put on it. the bars is still holding up in the matrix too phew!!

its like torque steer but i can feel something physically shift either in the driveline or the steering

yup its like torque steer but times 10 the car has always done it tried new tyres as well and checked pressures, wondered if it maybe cv joints.

drove the g60 to work tonight cold and foggy, she really flew!! last drive before pre respray strip down, bumper arrived (cheers leon!) need to get craking with the bbs now, as the interior is going to take the rest of the winter along with the bay work and charger refurb. so glad the valver passed its mot first time not bad for a free rado eh?!

when i accelerate in the g60 on certain roads it feels as though the front wheels shift over to the right and back to the left when i let off the gas causing the car to go diagnally right and then back to going straight. its very weird and is really annoying could it be the rack bushes or the rack itself? apart from these the steering and suspension is brand new. :roll:

yeah 1200 is steep my dad has one for sale it needs an mot and whether he gets round to it or not is another matter but he wont want that much for it on a L plate pm me if interested as i could always sort an mot if your interested, hes had it for 4 years and its never missed a beat.

passed the MOT today (valver!) :D matrix is leaking a bit but some bars stopped that, but its an imminent job :(

i always read it tbh i like hearing about what others are up to i work on mine all year round.

put a polarity switching elec window switch in the valver hey presto it works! fitted new oil cooler rad to the g60 and went for a drive man i miss driving her everyday. valver is going for mot tomorrow so fingers crossed i hope it wont be any more than front strut mounts but you never know, last few mots ive done they have missed all the things i thought needed doing! oh and cleaned the elec recaros.
