one other thing i noticed with my paint guy is that he wont let you leave until he has told you about every car he has ever painted how he did it what the customer was like etc! i think he loves his job!

jus been to see mine very very happy as it will be finished tomorrow he was just fitting the skirts, the paint looks amazing and the smoothing he has done looks spot on!

i would never get an mot at a stealers far to critical! my guy jsut says yer headlights need adjusting mate in fact anything that doesnt make the vehicle dangerous i can normally persuade him to sort later.

take the unit out it may need freeing off, and disks well easy really dont forget new pads while your there mate, if the light is bust someone will have one second hand as the casings are all the same its the glass and surrounds that differ..

thats still pretty pricey i have 134 bolts to get done surelyu it cant be cheaper to make brand new bolts and then chrome them, than to just plate the old ones

blimey 2 quid per bolt to have them polihed and chromed. about 6 times the cost of a new set!

it will be the thermal coupling in the gas stove they are pretty simple to replace and are universal

that really sucks dude, mine is in at the minute and the guy said it would be ready when i got back from the states which was last monday! needless to say i still dont have it back in his defence he has rung me every few days saying things like do you think it would look good if we smoothed so and so. so it sounds like he is into it and getting the job done properly at the end of the day last time i had a respray done quickly i ended up in court refusing to pay and it wrote my car off as the job was so bad! i'd hang fire the last thing you want them to do is rush the final,most important part of the job the paint application.

yeah number 5 and 6 are awful on mine too hang on wtf someones nicked em!

i dont drive mine everyday and its not a touch on your cars! i just dont want to have it in the body shop every few months, and i have alot of polished ally which wont stay polished if i do drive it in this weather!
