-

cheers mate, yeah wasnt the highlight of my year lol. lol cheers mate, i lucky enough to know a few people now who will allow me to use there trailer any time, but hopefulllllly will never need it   too late now mate :cuckoo: its a bit darker than your colour, the mk5 r32 colour you got??? bicay blue is the name of the colour i settled on. I love the colour, seriously cant wait to see r36 blue on a corrado.. wheels should be painted by next week:) I'm lucky enough to have a awesome bodyshop guy, who I have to thank, (Brad, or greased_up_deaf_guy on ed38) he owns http://smooth-customz.co.uk and is a total star :notworthy:

Would of get it powder coated, aint that fussed tho tbh. pfft build cost is properly something stupid, try not to keep track :cuckoo:

cheers for the warm welcome. i just didnt want audi 80 door handles, not my thing, like the corrado handles.. i have still got these doors for sale :camp: yup, 16v/abf eaton is going back in :) currently they arent fixed seats they just sit in the corrado subframe, but i'm properly gonna hard mount them.
-
thought i better get a project log going on here too.. as some of you know, i used to have a mk2 16v eaton, till i wrote it off.. since crashing it decided that another golf wasnt for me, was kinda fed up of them, always wanted a corrado, so got a mental corrado in the making now. how i bought it from ebay: stripping it Bought a crappy little pug, used this to take to santa pod, lol. going up santa pod Fuel filler cap for corrado. sold the pug and bought a mk2 diesel!! Went and picked a ton of late bits of my mate i got 2 doors 2 wings 1 bonnet 1 front bumper 1 slam panel 1 dash all dash parts carpet in the back of the mk2.. ha.. More corrado stripping! time for a update.. first off massive thanks to lovely brad (and his g/f) for all his help and time this week    engine out.. door on.. the next day.. full Milltek exhaust system.. with the corrado B) :D HR ARBS front and rear :D B) Rolling shell again wings kinda pushed on.. not held in properly yet. FINALLY decided on a colour got my rims shamefully the paint is all coming of, gonna colour code them.. although they have only JUST been painted.. the colour is pretty awful though.. brad pulled the rims apart yesterday for a full re-spray. spent last 2 days wire brushing and painting crossmember subframe: my tyres: Yokohama Parada Spec 2 205/40/17 and bought 2.25" dishes so i have 9" rears. and finally got my seats sorted

you need mirrors or its too smooth... does look good though. how do you do mirrors like jeff? cheeeers all :)
-
i meant smooth as in none.. but waking up this morning I'm off the idea.. I like those smoothed ones ^ that would be cool H8RRA
-
has anyone got some pictures of corrados with smooth mirrors!! am toying with the idea.. cheers :D
-
hey david, yeah im talking about the steering UJ... can you measure yours?? i'll measure mine tomorrow (lol that sounds funny  )
-
its ok didnt need any help anyway
-
the reason im not sure is, the uj part numbers differ, so i dont think a corrado UJ will fit a mk2, but i need to confrim this somehow... im not sure if its possible to swap the spline bit on the UJ.. need to know why its different..
