Saw one coming round Pershore this morning, was behind me in the vauge vicinity of A4104 / B4084 junction. One of the dark colours, might have had steel wheels perhaps? Was going slower than the speed limit so couldn't see it very closely :)

Hi Folks, sorry for the radio silence - had a rather frantic week at work. I've decided to build in a little bit of margin in order to be able to order stock of parts in advance so I can send parts whenever people show up in the thread. As a result these will now be available to forum members for £13+P&P for a set of 4, as long as paypal friends & family gift (with button ticked to pay the commission) or direct bank transfer is used to pay. I'll probably put some up on eBay later, but at a higher price to cover the ebay and paypal fees. Hello folks, thanks for the reports - nice to know of happy customers! I haven't been told of any going missing in the post, so I'm happy to sell my reserve parts - a set consisting of 2 from batch 1 and 2 from batch 2. There are slight differences but I believe them to be functionally equivalent. To be entirely fair I should offer these to Sean_Jaymo first as he is next in line, jpmaster if Sean is still in no hurry then you'll be next. I'll probably have another batch made once I've recovered from the expensive winter holiday and have a few quid to float it. All the best, -- Olly

Have just changed from Avon ZV5s to Uniroyal Rainsport 3s on the front (205/50R15), and the car feels a lot nicer. Avons were so vague! Will probably put Uniroyals on the back too when those Avons wear out. Avons were surprisingly good in snow, though... -- Olly

Hehe! Not my finest hour as a welder but I really didn't have time to strip the interior out in order to safely use the angle grinder to properly get rid of the old bracket. It works and it's strong enough, so that'll do for me.

A couple of days before the MOT, I decided to finally sort out a dodgy handbrake lever that was getting stuck partway up due to poor cable adjustment by the mechanic who changed the cables. Sorted the sticking, then took it out to see how well the handbrake worked. Gave the lever a good pull, and BANG! The front stud pulled out of the tunnel mount. Don't know my own strength, clearly. No worries though - cut the ruined bit out, made a repair piece out of 3mm steel, quickly plasterboarded the car to avoid ruining the seats with weld spelter, lined it up with the lever and welded it in. Quick token effort with some blue hammerite and I can now confidently lock both rear wheels without the car falling to bits! ttfn, -- Olly

Quick heads-up, this batch has come from the printers with a lot more dust stuck to the parts. I'll knock the worst off before sending them out but don't really have the facilities to clean them up properly at work. It would probably be worth going over them with a toothbrush before installing so that the dust doesn't fall out later and stick in the runners. Also as an aid to installation I put some graphite (i.e. pencil rubbing) on the lip where it pushes onto the metal bit of the regulator. Don't be tempted to use oil, it will weaken the plastic and make it swell up. Cheers, -- Olly
