I had my fuel filter changed last month at gwerks. darren mentioned that the fuel filter was original.. i thought he just meant it was a VW one, but he meant it was original! with 13 years worth of very thick very black Gladis sh!te in it! it seems to run a whole lot better now btw!

id be happy to buy a cat D car. the basic rule to work from is the value is 40-50% less than market value. It becomes more difficult when you are looking at 10+ year old cars, as values are so varied. Recently there have been seemingly similar VR6's selling on here for between 3-5k, putting the value of the one you're looking at at between £1500 & £2500. I wouldnt pay more than £2500 for it, unless tempted by extras such as leather recaro's and air con. HTH, and welcome btw! Baz.

Hmm, tricky. Personally i'd never recomend lying to insurers. How long ago were the plates put on/registered? have you had confirmation of the change from the DVLA? If you have, i'd recommend coming clean tbh. If not, you could always put the old plates back on. A personalised plate shouldnt make any difference to the value of the car, as most insurers will payout for mods seperately to the car itself. It could be used against you, but in reality i'd say its pretty unlikely. whos your insurers btw?

i bought sainsburys super unleaded for 87.9p on sunday. bargain! all gone now though

i fitted drivers side blades and arms to bothsides and they work perfectly. no need for passangers side anything as far as i can see.

cant wait till next week. the supercar bit was spooky. the mrs came home from work a few weeks ago, telling me that she saw a ferrari and another supercar drive past her work. she said it was shortly followed by a lambo on a trailer. i thought nothing much of it until tonight! The esso garage they stopped in is two buildings down from her.

Gutted mate, thats a real sh!tter. problem is, knowing whos prepared to take things further. someones gotta end the game somewhere, if you threaten them and then they torch your car or something, what would you do next? I never know the answer, and im just thankfull so far ive not had to know.
