After picking up my new Rado yesterday I spent the whole day today stripping interior - dash, carpet the lot! also sorting out problems.. I'm on a week off so should have most of it done by then. Also tried to work out where my wheels are leaking from - I need to give back the wheels the car came on :puppydogeyes:

Part no's are 191881213 & 171881213B.. As above they're not rollers, really easy to change - remove the seat by undoing the nut & allen key bolt at the front, slide the seat out to the rear. Remove old runners, fit new ones, slide seat back in. Its less than 5 minutes work per side once you know what you're doing! Look here for part no's and diagram.. http://www.vagcat.com/epc/

that's exactly what's happened.. replacements are about £6 for the pair.. for some reason £2 outer £4 inner!

I really dont like the new system at all, as mentioned due to not being able to bump and complexity of listing. Most items I'll cut/paste across several forums and it's frustrating having to do a separate ad here. The answer unfortuatly will be f**k off elsewhere.

where have you got this info from? everything i can find points to a 180bhp 1.4 twin charge from the S1 which is likely to launch this year. there's talk that a 2.0 tsfi would fit, but nothing to suggest it might happen in RS1 form?

You can make them fit, they don't look right and need a custom grill made for them. The light output is just as bad as Rado lights also.

I've had a battery drain for ages which I believe I'd narrowed down to a dodgy alternator. I also had an issue with my cooling fan not coming on at 90 like it should. I've just changed the alternator and taken the car out for a 20 minute run to put some charge in the battery however when I came home the battery light was still on and the cooling fan wasn't kicking in. Do you think there's not enough power back in the battery to start the fan? Or maybe I need to replace the radiator thermo-switch?

Check if they're convex or straight tapered. Convex use Vw bolts straight use BMW.. Can't remember off hand what I used.
