The wonders of the forum's search engine eh!
-
Not a bad effort i thought! Realised i hadn't been on here for months. If i start reading the CF again it won't be too long before i start wanting another Corrado again...
-
Hey, that was mine! How I miss her, sadly I sold it in April 2005. Bought it from a guy in the RAF in Norfolk, can't remember his name any more. Not been on the forum for a while, so i did a search for my old reg no. to see whether anyone on the forum owns it now.

What would your expectations of this set-up be???

Wassa Metro in the States? Surely it's not the same one we get over here! (1 litre engine, 20+yr old design, was made by Rover who've just gone bust) -
Much chortleage all round!
-
The second one draws the eye to the car more.
-
The turbonator - anyone heard of this for their RADO?

Cunning as a particularly cunning fox! That really does sound like utter balls though. -
Yeah you got me there :(
-
Due to severe short term memory probs  I can't remember the plate now (think L plate). Blue C travelling from Wateringbury towards East Malling about 9.30 this morning (wasn't in my VR, in a Primera from work).
-
where can you buy that meguires(?) or swissol that people are always talking about?
-
Much appreciated!
-
Has anyone got a picture of what this should look like by any chance?
-
Aside from that, the car would actually get higher!
-
Is that the diesel one? Ibiza Cupra pre-registered late 2004 for 13.5k, and that's the 180bhp as well. Thought that sounds quite good.
-
Not too sure yet, am in no rush as a car's not essential, so i'll sell the C and then get something else. Am thinking along the lines of a Ibiza or Leon Cupra. Not driven either, but have heard the Ibiza's more fun. What you getting when yours is gone Andy?
-
Sad to say mine's gonna go up for sale - wouldn't want to say it's perfect but it's pretty good really. I reckon £4.5k would be a fair price, but who knows?
-
Sometimes, yep. My C doesn't get driven a huge amount so you'd be pretty lucky to spot me! Possibly was me though.
-
There seem to be quite a few VR's on places like Autotrade for pretty strong money (anything up to £6,500 for one with 124k on the clock) Are these prices realistic, i wonder if these are being sold for anywhere near asking price? Makes me tempted to put mine up for sale :(

Dark blue K***PKP (i think) at Volksline, Broad Oak Rd Canterbury yesterday 11am ish. Spoke to the owner-he'd only just bought it and it was in the garage already. Mind you, so was i! Didn't think to speak to him about the forum.

Anyone got any pics of a C with either OZ Superturismo or OZ Record wheels? Or recommend something else! Looking at 15's, although wider than the std 6.5" would be good, but keeping suspension standard. Cheers Anthony

I'm off to get laser wheel alignment done in a bit, am hoping for an improvement to my steering.

I've had two over the past couple of months - makes you feel good. One was at a set of traffic lights, the chap banged on his window to ask me for directions and then commented on how he was a big VW fan and loved Corrado's (before speeding off in his rep-mobile) Second was in Sainsbury's car park. I came back to my car and this guy was looking around it admiringly and said he'd always wanted one (think he had a 16v mk2 golf). His girlfriend gave him a very old-fashioned look!
-
Yep, and it's disappeared again now!
-
He looks nothing like Jeremy Clarkson!
