    right, just want some suggestions on what amp an sub to go for please, second hand aint a problem, set up will be audioscape pods with speakers then sub in box with one amp to run it all.(no rear speakers) budgets not alot tho £300 for sub+amp. thanks.

    how about a DIY matt black? cheap, plus gives you a colour change to keep the project fresh........im sure you'll do a good job of it an think it'll make it looks extra hard(with the right wheels--hmmm,orange ones maybe) ;) 8)

    yeah, no rust!! an a oaky, paid for it tho.... know what you mean bout the looks of a c' tho...i just needed a change, went looking to buy a mk2 8years ago an ended up buying a c' an then it was no looking back, untill now :wink)

    just had a good look an cant find it :( ,(maybe early 06?) from what i can remember it was red(i think) fully stripped an as you'd imagine was all about the engine, dont think the owner was a regular on here. anyone else shed any light?

    thanks for advice chaps, still not sure what was done to it but it was a flyer!! but past on it due to body condition......but saw another an put a deposit down on that :mrgreen:

    need some advice please as to what to look out for,or if this could cause a problem. but going to view a '90 16v mk2 golf later an it has "Full engine rebuild raised compression & ported polsihed head ( all genuine VW parts) Less than 20,000 miles ago Fully uprated & re-built gearbox." is ok to raise the compression?
