  3. id say its gonna be massive ,my bro's got a corsa ,which should be similar and it seems a pretty itelligent system ,would be a bit a nightmare in a corrado ,i could probabley get you some pics of his system if its any help? just tell me what bit you wat to see
  4. checked it today ,green plug goes to the fuse box ,as you look at the fusebox in the car ,its on the drivers side i think its the middle row and its on the end nearest the drivers door ,the plugs by it are green as well so it should be obvious ,any probs give me a shout

  7. im interested in this as well cos one of the pipes in the aircon i brought was damaged ,also if anyone knows where to get the little green seals from ,sorry for being cheeky coxylaad
  8. made a few bits for the interior ,wanted the humped back seat since i brought the car ,finally managed to get one and trim it ,just got 3 more door cards to do ,anyway heres some pics
  9. i did mine ,paint stripper (nitromors) ,then wet sanding and polishing ,it aint easy though and there still not perfect ,i tried laquering with 2 pac and it wouldn't stick right ,and it dulled the fnish, may just be how i did it though ,im sure its possible ,your car looks sweet it would really suit it with polished wheels ,good luck !!
  10. oh dear, have you got a rotten C? I think my C has cost me about £400 in maintenance. + fuel for wherever you want to go (thousands of miles opposed to a few) + £500 of ins/mot/tax ; and I expect to hardly loose a penny when I sell it; not forgetting the majority of cost would be incurred to buy a runner to get to work anyhow. Theres no vet bills, no stable costs, food every week - how much does a horse cost? Im sure devilfish was only joking (in part). PMSL mines off the road and its cost more than that a year !!!!!
  11. its kind of weird that a horse ,that seems to be mostly muscle can get spooked by a kid on scooter ,if only they knew the damage they could do to them ,
  12. Thanks Zippy.... Wilkes - That sounds horrible what happened to your brother but as owner of 3 horses I have to agree with Zippy. We avoid roads as much as possible but for some riders its just not possible, for me to rideout I have to go 200 yards down a busy road until I meet the lane for the Common or country roads with no traffic - I would love to have my horses on a yard that didnt go onto busy road but I havnt been able to find one that will accomodate me and my horses. From the sound of it the incident involving your brother was a freak accident, the rider wasnt on the road with the horse, they were in a situation where they couldnt pre-empt what would happen or prevent it - believe me if 500kg of horseflesh wants to feck-off across a field theres not much we can do to stop it... Riders are aware of the dangers and none of us would attempt to go on a road with a horse that wasn't 100unless, like me, they have a youngster that they are making traffic proof. When I take my 4 year old horse out on the roads I have someone walking with me to help, thus helping contain any danger me, my horse or approaching drivers are in. There are 8 accidents a day involving horses on the road and over 100 horses are killed each year due to these accidents. We are aware of the dangers but we need the drivers to help us - is it really a problem to slow down and pass slowly when you encounter a horse on the road? Strangely enough I find that drivers are more curteous if i wear a flouresent jacket with 'YOUNG HORSE _ PLEASE PASS WIDE AND SLOW' on it..... at the end of the day we are allowed to ride on the road and the Highway Code asks that we are given right-of-way, if you have a problem with this take it up with the people who decided that...! Unfortunately there will always be some idiot who goes out on the roads on a horse without a hat or flourecent gear just as there will be drivers out there without insurance, or a licence, or who just doesnt slow down.... it doesnt mean we are all like that.... polite rant over... :) i wouldn't ever drive past a horse rider at a stupid speed ,im a curteous driver ,but surely there are things on the road that slow you down that get you a bit wound up ,for me its them ,can i ask ,would you and the person walking with your 4 year old horse be able to stop it if it decided to go wherever it wanted ? genuine question ,no sarcasm intended .this is only my opinion ,its more personal for me cos of my brother , I never said you did speed past horses, I appreciate your brothers accident will have made you more wary and that you will be very cautious. and yes, there are things on the road that p me off, horses are yours, young female drivers (i know!!!) tend to be mine...! I never take a horse on a road I cannot control - my horses are all worked in a school and a field everyday to ensure they are well behaved and listen to me, us going on the road is the only way we can get to a bridlepath to the common so we can have some fun. they have been walked in hand on the roads first (where i have complete control) to get them used to it, then walked out with me riding with other, older horses and with someone by their head and then on their own with someone at their head - I have no concerns about the control of them, its some drivers who get too close, or to fast that i worry about - at the end of the day my horse could be walking down the road and behaving perfectly but if a driver is going to quickly and doesnt see me or doesnt move out in time thats not mine or my horses fault. I have ridden on the roads for 14 years and never had a problem - never even came close. HOW DARE YOU !! i like young females in cars :D you asked if it was a problem to slow down for horses ,it isn't !, what i meant was if it did decide to wander ,you couldnt stop it ,like you said earlier if 500 kg's of flesh was to run you cant stop it ,its not a machine it cant be turned off ,if it wanted to it could ,im sure there well trained and it may not be an issue ,for you ... but that isn't the case for horses in general ,i think your quite lucky ( or maybe its the well trained horses) that you haven't had any trouble ,judging by some posts on here and a few stories i have heard from friends its not uncommon ,again my opinion ,which is what this whole thing started off as ,just my opinion ,nice of you to at least be reasonable and not throw a little fit especially seeing as you own some . may i ask why you have someone walk with you if your 100

  14. i know what your saying and i think the problems mainly with the owner/rider than the horse itself ,i have a friend who was (by his own admission speeding) up a dual carriae way at dusk and nearly hit a horse ,beacause they had no reflective clothing ,now he shouldn't be speeding but that owner shouldn't be on a dual carriage way ,i suppose when your sat in traffic cos theres a horse going down the street its easy to get annoyed , and as you said it will only get worse ,my bro got seriosly upset ,they had to pick the body up with a jcb ,and he said he had to look away ,still bothers him today !! i know at times they have to use the roads ,but surely a field is big enough to get exercise ,if not then why keep em there ? my concern is safety ,it sn't safe for them or us ,when they shit all over the roads they dont clear it up ,theres the fear of it bolting over daft things etc ,,, mind you its got to be safer than drivig a lowered car round by me !!
  15. thats right mate you dont know the whole story ,still feel obliged to rant though !! the horse was in a field it ran through a gap in the hedge (that the owner hadn't fixed)after throwing her from its back, basically came at an angle ,and as a result couldn't be seen right until it unavoidable ,my brother was going at the speed limit ,no questions ,witnesses said it ,police said it ,van was brand new (hence why it wasn't wrote off) the horse died quickly because it snapped its neck . where do i think horses should go? ,fields ,tarmac'd roads are for cars ,we pay for em they pay for fields ,my bro isn't some boy racer ,screaming around in a sh1t smoking rattly van ,he's a mature driver in a new van wth a clean license ,who was deeply grieved at the images of that day, horses are beutiful majestic creatures and if they get spooked b rattling vans then the roads aren't the place for them ,maybe 100 years ago but not now ,
  16. horses !! always in the flippin way and leave a mess everywhere ,we have to go round slowly even though we pay road tax/etc ,my bro hit a horse a couple of years ago ,in his works van ,6 grand damage to the van and the horse was dead before it hit the ground ,he drives a corsa outside work and would probabley have died in that ,the rider did something that made it bolt ,they still haven't had payment for the van either and t also damaged an audi cab on its way to its new owner ,i like horses but the road is no place for em
  17. my gf has got got the sh1ttiest old e36 you have seen ,i sprayed it and it rusted again ,it has 170 odd thousand on the clock ,but it drives fantastic ,smooth and nippy for a 1.6 and it has a perfect driving position ,i love em !!

    Roof Trim

erm ,i hope thats a spelling mistake ,and your old dear isn't getting you hard by wearing paint :D
  19. the loom comes out of the passenger side of the firewall, theres 1 or 2 plugs on the pump which should be easy to spot ,theres 2 long black wires which have plugs in they are for the sensors on the hubs ,they route through the suspension turrets by through holes by the brake lines ,theres one wire which goes to the master cylinder at the bottom ,then yopu have a live and earth to the battery ,im going of memory here but if you have any trouble post up some pics of the plugs/engine bay ,or any thing your struggling with and ill try and help
  20. i go to work at 5 in the morning ,one morning i passed a mondeo crawling with its lights off ,thought they where up to no good so i overtookem ,they sped up and stuck to my bumper ,i didn't want any grief but they kept following ,so i thought if they follow me round one more turn ill boot it ,they followed , i booted it ,they put the blue flashing lights on their undercover car on !! doh!! got away scott free though ,just wanted to know what engine it had then told me to behave ,never had much trouble apart from that . wondering though ,just out of interest ,how many people on here carry a weapon ?? for defence ???
  21. there should be an abs ecu in the passenger side under the dash behind a plastic trim thats where the wiring goes ,do you still have the system in the engine bay? if not itll cost a fair bit to put back in ,i think !!
  22. cool stance ,and it does look mean ,paint is a bit much though
  23. love that colour ,very nice car
  24. love to see one of those with the indicators/fog lights smoothed off ,like toffeeraddo'
  25. i think they look quite cool ,still clean ,if your gonna get bigger wheels and other stuff then go for it ,like bristolaron says it'd be the only one
