Kev, i think you will find a Bull provides more torque than a standard horse, they are more about top end power. Just think 6.6 transam vs prelude vtec. Same power, different extremes of delivery. Me likey, did they do one in aqua blue? Dumb luck Jay, glad it really is only the door, and im sure you've had the microscope out to make sure, if so its very lucky in a way. Cant wait for PVW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
ive done my axel bushes all suspensions units inc top mounts, plate everything and 2 new vag wishbones, but mine still feels vague. My suspisions are Steering rack - or ALSO SEE KEVs DODGEY STEERING A CURE THREAD Track rod ends Thats all thats left on mine. As you say, cant put my finger on it, just feels like your allways steering and its hard to relax.

There was a recall that put a metal thingy there with a valve in that stops the matrix getting too hot and xploding water all over your passengers legs. We dont care, but it happened to an american women so it was recall time due to £££££££££££££££££££££££ law suit! However if yours is plastic im not sure its the same. I know if you drain the coolant these valves can stick shut. Need picks really dude

I know i know im a short weed, i'll just run through their legs

im actually going to try taking just the wiper arm back for the passenger side and exchanging it for the second drivers one they've just ordered for me. I'd like to see them explain why i get 20p back for one and the other ***SMALLER*** one is going to cost me £38+vat. Now thats going to be fecking funny. Perhaps this is a way around the problem.......... Buy a passnger side lupo kit and take the arm back saying oops, sorry i needed a drivers arm. I presume you will get the refund price for the arm not the kit, ie £38 allowing you to effectively obtain the drivers side for kit price. Follow? Will it work, we shall see toomowwow. One things sure, after my mud flaps, header tank..................I will be walking out with a drivers arm and i wont be taking any money with me.
-
After today i will be going in tommorrow with the target and some kind of implement. I wont be wearing the target this time.
-
hi ho hi ho its back to fag i go..............
-
No probs for me then as my insurers wont recognise my cat one full closure because i cant prove what it is!! Dub, do you need a clifford to start with or can you buy a nd stand alone remote start system, if that makes sense?? Dr Matt lol on the alien vibe, they would !
-
Fuel filter? Thats a cheap easy check.
-
Looks like you have narrowed the field mate. Cant be many things left to try. At least the de-cat is worth doing even if it isnt that. I noticed no difference at the top end, but it definately picked up the low down torque quite noticeably imo. Much more that the cat back and bmc when they went on.
-
Disc should have been with you today bud, tommorrow morning latest! If its not there tommorrow let me know and ill send another. pm'd re the de-cat
-
Or you could book it into VAG, and see if its the air freshner!
-
I have my cat off at the mo (until the next mot) if you can think of a way to get it to you reasonably then your welcome to borrow it mate, for as long as it takes to test fit and test it. My mots not until Sept 2006!? It ran 200 at stealth with it on and came off two days later. Also have a spare lambda probe if you wanna try that, peanuts to post.

"I'd like some reasonably priced correct genuine parts please, i've made it easy for you........"
-
Dinkus, yes mate and i was going to buy some coolant tommorrow there too. Thinking it through tonight though, i'd rather not end up with brake fluid in my radiator. Perhaps i should order a new headlight bulb, never know, might get lucky and bag a new 2.9 block!
-
Cheers Supercharged, i had them on me but he sounded so confident i did'nt want to tell him his job, heaven forbid one should ever need to hey!
-
Perhaps i'll try the "corrado specific" mudflaps they sold me for £65 (that dont fit and they wont take back because i got them dirty figuring that out) on the wiper splines and try the wipers as mudflaps.
-
One blade is 2 inches longer than the other, but the longer one is offset?
-
He wrote on there that the even numbered parts go on the drivers side. I presume he was thinking about the lupo then. Im totally confussed now!
-
The drivers side i got working with the shorter blade on the wrong arm worked great but juddered horribly on the way back down from the top!!
-
Ben, i think i need two drivers side arms dont i. One of the arms is just wrong wherever i put it, its got no dog leg. I know where ill be putting it tommorrow though....................
-
They have to give you 10% with ccgb, but ive never been asked, they just give me 10% anyway, probably because they know they are selling me the wrong bits!
-
Saves me cleaning the roof! Every fecking time, it must just be me!
-
At the risk of being strung up by my interesting bits, LUPO WIPERS WTF! Went in to the dealers today armed with part numbers from the many posts, but did'nt get that far cuz the bloke said, a ha Corrado, Lupo wipers, done loads mate and you wont pay the £100 non kit rip off price. Nice one i thought. 2 mins later handed all the bits for £60 on the nose, lovely jubley, yeah right. I have 6X2 955 410C Plastic bag 6X2 955 405 Plastic Bag 1J2 955 426B Nice long white cardboard box The two arms have on them 6X2 955 410C 6X2 955 409C One of the blades is two long but the shorter one seems to work on the drivers side. But i generally get the feeling these are not all the right bits. Bonnet scrapage and length issues. The way he did it was order a passenger side kit and then another bit? I didnt understand but he said he'd done loads so i trusted him. One of the bags had the arm and wiper in. The box had just a blade in and the other bag had just an arm in. Am i going mad or did he spot the sign on my ass again that says, "do me here please, i'm getting used to it"
