Gottit :D :D :D :D Picked up the keys to my VR tonight. Spent this evening grinning from ear to ear as I roared around getting the hang of her. Thanks to Rawhide and compliments, I think she is a fine example. Just need to respray the front bumper and work some autoglym magic. Has anyone got and advice about induction kits. Im thinking along the lines of K&N 57i to help her breathe. Post my own pics when it is sunny.

Top Vids, Noticed you were trying hard to keep up with a mighty pug 205????? anyway I did the ring on gt4 in a s2k in sub 10 mins and id still rather have a Corrado. :D

No Drama, I usually get Paul Scholes fat lookalike jobs. :)

Well it Finally happened. Today was a good day, Went over to meet with Rawhide and made an offer on his tidy VR6. Offer accepted!!! :D Just gotta wait to transfer the savings that have been burning a v6 sized hole in my account for a coupla months and pick her up. :-P Ta for Neil for being so patient and supplying cups of tea while I made my mind up. I hope your foray into the world of Honda S2000 works out. I also hope my wallet is ready for a transition from turbo diesel to thirsty monster. PS the Rado viewing guide is ace and helped out no end in the quest.

Direct competitor for Masarati quatroporte and aston rapide. Should be mental.

If you know his work is good is it realy worth messing up your pride and joy? Bite the bullet. it sounds like a lot of different fiddly jobs rather than concentrating on just one area. I reckon its a deal.

wow. Has anyone seen the cabriolet in the Karmann museum? http://www.vwcorrado.de/t127_corrado_cabrio.html classy.

it all comes back to the same arguement that makes programs like Points of View utter tosh. If you dont like it change the furkin channel. Its what I do most evenings when confronted with twaddle like ground force and location location location. BBC should be able to cater for all tastes in moderation with the licence fees. and while im at it they are equally responsible for clogging up decent country roads with fools who are "just popping down the garden centre" of a sunday. GRRRR GRRRRR GRRRR sorry, im fine now.

empty wallet but at least you can look at her. Very tidy looking car chap.

as big, fat and orange as it was it was still a top car. Had the luck to sit in it at the NEC motor show way back then. I was gobsmacked at the ice install. just wondered if it actually moved with all those bins.

Just been tidying out the garage and came across some old copies of Max Power. (yeh I know CHAV CHAV CHAV) but, does anyone remenber that project Mad Max? the orange Rado with reiger bodykit and no back seats due to masses of subs and amps. Just wondering if it still exists or did it fall off the road somewhere along the line?

Did you get a renewed guarantee?

Im getting close to my first Rado and its gotta be a VR, as a friend had one years ago and I fell in love. As I am nearing the crucial funds to get a nice one the inevitable pub chat has put me in a bit of a fix. I know a bit about the rado in general and can quote on the stats of the Vr but I know nothing about the G60. Can anyone help me out? Engine size, Speeds. 0-60 etc but most importantly, just how does an intercooler work? Cheers.

How about a Pug 306 GTI6 ? Serioudly rapid. doesnt shout about it to much and as long as it is kept clean or not to modded an air of respectability.
-
its a good look. 5 spokes suit a rado. and those have style. not to loud.
-
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Marshmallow time :onfire: hope it hasn't charred the rear bumper.

If the motorway noise is a constant whineing then the bearings are likely to be shot. If it is as bad as you say then one way of checking is to jack up the front and wobble each wheel. any movement, and thats your problem.
