Chaps Before I phone around my local garages, what would you expect to pay for a standard set of rear discs and pads for a VR6 fitted by a specialist? Cheers
-
I had a VR auto for a year and I have to say I really liked it...fantastic in traffic as I used it as my daily, and still enough performance when the roads allowed. Yes I'd choose a manual for the back roads but for 99% of the time I didnt feel short changed having an auto. My old Auto is actually for sale in the classifieds.

Welcome back Andy...Highline looks tidy. Always thought a standard Mk3 Golf VR looks great when in good condition on solitudes. -
Sorry to be off topic but 2 posts in nearly 7 years, thats top lurking mate! Anyway good luck with getting your car sorted, glad to see another owner giving their C some love and attention, its a very helpful forum so I'm sure someone will be along soon to help. Cheers

Just took these off my camera, my VR packed next to Maserati GranTurismo Cabrio and a F430 Scuderia....Audi R8 V10 in the background.

Audi Coupe V6 with all the big bills paid for...

Lovely car and always fancied one of these...I'd be tempted if it was in a different colour. -
I can only echo the comments already, fanatastic build thread and car mate.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Volkswagen-Corrado-2-0-16v-blue-OFFERS-/290564903326?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item43a704919e Anybody else seen this? Apart from the shockingly written advert and being way overpriced, any idea on the theme for the paint job/graphics?

Corrado also at 3.28 :-)

No worries mate, post them up when you get back.
-
No worries Steve, I have very limited internet access at weekends so I might not be able to view until Monday. Cheers
-
Great help to all thanks. I'll phone around but looks like taking it down the scrapyard ourselves. Cheers
-
I don't need mint ones but if they are good I am interested. Look forward to the pics. Cheers

Could be worth a try, although there is a fee, and current CAP average on the car is only £170.

Cheers guys, we are just hoping as MOT has almost expired we can stilll get a reasonable sum for it.
-
Need a little advice... My gf's is getting rid of her 1995 Peugeot 106, it's seriously on its last legs and the MOT expires next month, which we won't be renewing. Would you recommend taking it to a scrapyard ourselves or to get one of those 'companies' that advertise in the local paper to come round and pick it up? Basically we want to get the most we can for it, we would be happy to get £200-250 for it. Cheers
-
Any chance you could post up pictures? Cheers
-
Hi Steve How much would you want for 2? FYI I don't need tyres. Cheers

Grey C on M25 near J26 going anti clockwise on Sunday, too far away to see model, it was lowered with dark/black wheels. Only C I saw on a 400 mile round trip, i saw more NSX's than C's!
