yes and no...for such a large car they are very capable and hate to admit an enjoyable drive, the 35d is particularly impressive. However they are less practical than an X5, ugly and actually not very good in snow or off road. however i did once get a ride in this, not sure if it counts cos it at a track day but..

Cool cheers...I'm good bud, still can't get away from Corrados, I am on my 4th now!... -
I am very fortunate to drive many manufacturer demos through work, but our MD had one of these for while (X6M) and i managed do get a drive, despite being a hideous car in an even worse colour, 550bhp in something so large is an experience you don't forget in a hurry...

It still a great event, unfortunately though with the demise of the motor show it has almost become too popular which massive crowds. Make sure you get there early as the traffic can be a nightmare as the Chichester area has limited ways in and out. I've been last 3 years and there is alot to see and some awesome cars, especially as you get to see (and hear!) them on the move...especially the F1 cars as for many it the easiest and probably only way to get to see them so close in action...i have to admit tho I'd struggle to get 3 full days worth, 2 days would certainly be enough.

Guys Bit of a random, and probably stupid question but I am after a new bonnet and was wondering will it fit in the back of a Corrado with the seats down etc? I am guessing not but before i get my tape measure out... Cheers

I have also driven the Leaf, and Allied Peugeot Expert and a Mitsubishi iMiEV, and was also very impressed. Instant torque makes them seem very quick at low speeds. Range anxiety is the key, but as many of you have said, for those who mainly do short journeys or as a second car it could be ideal. Aslong as you have a somewhere to charge over night, as those who park on the street could have issues with cables! Other concerns over long term battery life, residual values are also heavily discussed in the industry, but as technology/battery size/performnace/efficencey improves hopefully these will be addressed, and also bring the purchase costs down. Time will tell.

Chaps Simple and probably stupid question but... Apart from using a pin is there any other way of cleaning out the washer jets? Anyone got a clever way of doing it? My bonnet currently gets more washer fluid on it than my windscreen! Cheers
-

Chaps I have had to replace the offside front indicator bulb about 3 times in the last week. What could be causing this? All other bulbs, lights, electrics are working as normal. Its a 95 VR6. Cheers

yes it seems to tick quite a few boxes, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the car. As for reversing the trend, i think you are right, standards have slipped and recent steering recall on the LS hasn't help either!

Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this Andy. I work in the fleet industry and should get my hands on a CT200h myself sometime soon. Hybrid only though I have heard, our Lexus contact said no plans for a hot version in the similar vein to the IS-F...shame. I wouldnt be surprised if (or more likeley when) Lexus becomes a hybrid only brand.
