looks good! its was ABP Motorsport. good company but a bit pricey i reckon, i know a few mechanics so i might be able to get one to sort me out. i was thinking maybe a custom powerflow job though, for about the same price i could have something a bit funky.

worth the 350 asking price? plus 130 labour.... i've only seen em on a few cars not been wildly impressed so far. its a 5x3inch oval exit. had a look into it as my rado's tail peice is nearly dust (full system is fine though) perhaps a backbox might be better?

have any of you guys got any vids of your rado's at RR days or just thrashing the danglies off em? i really love seeing a car in action from a perspective toher than the steering wheel. particularly if you humiliate some jap or french cars. :D

im sure a guy i used to work with had some azev a's fitted to his golf rallye, they just look sh!t hot on german cars, he was only running 16's i tihnk though. nice rado too.

my current rado is gonna be runing on standard bbs allys, i was wondering how much i should be looking at paying for some Azev's or something similar. not sure of the wheel style, the basic 5 spokes, only want sorta 16/17's probably keep same size but not sure.. just curious.

im with collie, im exactly the same with my pug, its a slow dull affair but i'd hate to drive past one day and see it totalled. i'd like to se my car go to a good home, and i hope the guy selling me my corrado see's it as such. you spend so long in your car you feel terrible at the thought of it being badly cared for

i bought a 1983 gt5 coupe! 4wd, 5cyl turbo, it was quick, hideous interior though. mine wasnt and still isnt the best example, having done about 200k scratches dents and holes all over it, and was purchased for the princely sum on £15

its done 126k, quite a bit, but after driving it i wasnt put off so it cant be bad because im the most indecisive gimp ever! yeah its met green (dragon?) and i'll be super careful with the t-cut and then go bonkers with my dads autoglym :D not sure about excitement more crapping myself ;)

6am this orming i departed on my long journey to just below Uxbridge... arrived about 10am. found a gleaming green corrado g60 awaiting me! black cloth interior in IMMACULATE condition and i mean immaculate! original BBS's, all electrics working apart fromt he slide option on the sunroof (i hate em anyway lol) no leaks around the engine at all, plenty of icky highland toffee though. long story short, after depositing £200 deposit and oweing £1800 i am now the owner awaiting to pick up a very tidy g60! i can see why you guys love em so much, drives superb, nice stiff suspension and lots of driver feedback. nice. time to go to halfords and get some t-cut. (unless anyone knows a better cutting compound?)

will do. bloke seems honest enough has all the previous bills, said it was last serviced at jabbasport before he got it (he's put 17k on the car) so i dunno, find out tomorrow.

i wouldnt mind doing that, but im gonna be hefting out enough for the insurance at the moment ;) maybe for xmas as long as its in as good a condition i will have a rado by the end of next week :D :D :D a totally standard dragon green g60 no less! *manic laugh* cheers andi that gives me a better understanding of any work that'll need doin and a big fat bit of leverage for knocking down the price to under 2k haha

fair point. im just shitting my pants at this g60 in uxbridge has done 126k but has regular services, but he thinks the charger hasnt been done in about 40k... so that will either need doing desperately or just not buying at all, but i guess i wont know till tomorrow :S anyone from that area well up on g60's?

rado's with big miles on? are they a deathrap or not? i know up to a 100k with good maintenance is fine but 100+ is still going to be running fine or what? i know its a fairly stupid question because of the different care etc has been applied to the car so *shrug* should i be bothered by 130k? somebody please put my mind at ease! this is directed mainly at valvers and g60's as vr6's are out of my league purely on buying costs! cheers

they arent very fast iirc. i've driven a few 323's they really arent impressive

red 16v/g60 unsure near nantwich going past Bridgemere garden centre around 6 o'clock? standard as far as i could see. pretty dirty too!

i indeed have bally, it was an extra £290 for the remaining 6 months.

i found a fairly good looking g60 on autotrader its down south planning to phone the guy back tonight and organise a time to view it. the car has done about 130k and regular servicing, but it doesnt sound like the charger has been serviced in at least the last 20k, so unless it turns out that it has been serviced etc, would it be worth having it stripped and shined up? the car has allegedly great interior (karmann) and good bodywork so it'd be a shame to pass up if its all in order!

last year i took a year out before uni to get some wonga, one of the mechanics there had a golf rallye, now im not a big fan of golfs but holy shit was that thing fast, it was lhd so when i got the chance to drive it i barely got out of first cos i kept smacking my hand on the door card heh, but he'd had alot of work done and it was pumping out around 220bhp o_O now that car went like a cat on fire with a bottle of no2 up its arse, is a g60 rado going to compare? clearly not round the twisty bits im sure the golf would have tken it there with it being 4wd...
