I think helfrauds have a sale on them at the mo... I got mine (recaro look alike!) from big W as they where far cheaper and tastefully coloured!!! if you know what i mean!!LOL

it takes along time for everything to dry out properly... is soaked mine by mistake whilst cleaning the engine bay took a week to run right again!!!

I had no end of probs with my 16v running but not only in the hot weather it turned out to be conected to a faulty lambda probe.... might be worth checking?

catch_twotwo i basically removed the carpet and covered the space with masking tape, any area's that where not solid i covered with cardboard and then taped over....i then basically fibre glassed the entire area the end mold fits very snug in place.... easy honest!!! fla i tried the handles but am afraid they where about half inch short so would require body work... which wasnt the idea. if im doing body work will have proper audi handles fitted... bit of a shame really..... thanks for your comments guys!

TC I have an early and a late door on mine the only thing i had to do was drill and fix the door card screw point which holds the centre of the newer stlye door cards in place....

I would say get the audioscapes without fail! i have infinitis in mine and they sound great the tweeters can be mounted in the original positions although you will have to cut the original mounting points slightly....

thought id post a couple of pics showing the fruits of my labour this weekend... sub box built and fitted along with new solid floor and carpet... overall very happy... before i seal the box totally was wondering if i should fill it with foam or such like... or stick egg box foam onto the inside??? :D

Im sure the plastic trim does just clip off... I think they are quite robust as i broke my windscreen and the fitter guy wasnt exactly gentle when removing it...!
