i did mine a while ago think it looked better with the actual TT shifter goes with all the bling in my cabin!! and of course follows the theme with my TT seats !!!... i made a new base as i had problems getting it into reverse i think it modernises the cabin look well.. good effort ... 8)

ive got the same prob with my 16V wanted to upgarde to 280's but cant !! GRRRRRRRRR

refurbed my 280 calipers and carriers....took delivery of my ate powergroove disks....

I did the brakes on my 16V last weekend and the flexy hose goes from the caliper to the rigid mounting point in the arch... it also has ABS if that helps...

ive screwed mine together after spending ages straightening all the plastic clips etc out and as previously stated covered the heads looks good and stays in place....

Slats after seeing your sub box i was inspired and built mine... see pic below still needs finishing off but was wondering how thick the fibreglass was on yours and how you actually sealed it to the mdf front? cheers

Bought a 280 brake set up!!! doh why didnt i do that before a stripped and refurbed my standard brake set up...... oh well atleast i know what im doing know!!LOL

fla... did exactly the same this weekend stripped the brakes one was stuck solid so removed the piston and fitted new seals yeh brakes that work ish!!! only prepped em for painting as i decided part way through to upgrade too 280mm. Also did abit of interior trimming to make my rear TT seats look better.... very happy with the results!! oh nearly forgot sprayed my new side skirts black... 8)

just after abit of info guys...... my osfront brake keeps seizing on obviously causing things to get very warm and smelly!! after checking it the grommet that covers the actual piston is split and i assume letting dirt in hence it seizing..... can you replace this grommet/seal if so is VAG the best place to get it from? also can i just remove the piston and replace the seal without having to bleed the whole system? cheers :D

they are fibre board covered with a material.... lots of people cover their dash with leather or similar....
