Many thanks for your input guys Andy, yea the clutch problem is exactly as you describe, ive been living with it for about 4 months.

Just dropped my VR at the stealers to have a look at a noise coming from the rear wheel, which they quoted me 170 for doing both rear wheel barings. But also, they say that they recon the coolant housing seal on the head has gone which will cost be about 170. And!.. the clutch bearing is going, which is going to cost me 350-ish. Do these prices sound reasonable? Or am I beat going to a VW speicalist or another garage?

Nice! I had them removed from my rocco, but didnt think about it back then! Never got any hassle for it though.

Is it legal to have no side repeater lights? Been considering removing mine for a while but dont know the legal implicantions.

Well spotted, wondered why it wasn't running properly :lol: There are re-routed to come up from the bottom of the engine through the lower inlet manifold. You gonna polish them as well!? :lol:

mines not show clean all the time. Couple of pics will show you what I mean, just elbow grease the day before. Couldnt 'quote' the images, but on p59 the dirty(!!) engine bay image. Where are your HT leads!!!?

From reading the forum they seem to be the choice coilovers. So whats a bush then?? (dont say green leafy thing) ...bumpstops? damper??

cheers guys, Ive been thinkin about some FK konisport coilovers for a while. how much of the orignal setup do coilovers replace? (Need a new clutch as well, so thinking bout getting the whole lot done in one go)

ATM my suspension is totally standard, when my car whent in for a service with VW a couple of months ago they said the 'Near side rear damper is leaking slightly' and will need replacing at some point. What exactly is the damper, and why would it be leaking!? I thought it was just a bush sat on top of the suspension arm? I am not undestanding. They also quoted me £115 (i think) to fix it. Ta

Based on 5000 members thats £70 each for the deposit, and if we pass it around day by day, each member should have it once every 14 years - cool. :lol: Me first me first!! Wonder how much the insurance would be!!

thers no challenge in a veyron on though (apart from getting on the waiting list!) theres no satisfaction in knowing youve created something unique!

Was thinking about it last half asleep, if you won the lottery and you had unlimted money to spend on your rado, just imagine!>....1... Dual-turbo charged W12 engine (if itd fit!), 4wd, uprated everything...mm.. sigh
