Do all models show the outside temp or just vr's. My valver ends with oil temp. Always thought it a bit odd as me golf's both had outside temp.

Could also be the ignition switch, mines on its way out, every now and then when it wont start i have to hold the wiring at the back of the switch while i turn my key. Works every time then. Its one of those i'll get round to it jobs.

Sunday G/H reg (cant remember now) red valver driving around shawbirch, shrewsbury. had your missus in the car with you. i was standing on me aunts drive next to my green valver. both exchanged glances and nods. Anyone????

Gavin, muchos gracias. just nipped out to my car, much to the wifes disgust, twisted the end of the lead and lo and behold, off it pops. just pushed the new one thru and away we go. 8) Cant understand why it worked with out it connected, done about thirty miles today and had no problems at all. Strange Cheers again. i'll be in touch soon as i need a headlight loom and i've been told your the man.

Hi all, came to change my HT leads, dizzy cap etc. yesterday and upon changing the leads one at a time i got to the third lead from the left and discovered that the lead was running through some weird ring device (see photos) that seemed to have an electrical connection running off to the loom. Not knowing what it was i decided to change all leads and see if it still ran ok.....which it does, runs fine, fires up perfectly first time etc. So i now have all leads as normal plus the old lead still going thru whatever it is strapped out of the way untill i know what it is. there is no way the old ht lead can pass through it without cutting the lead, and then how do you get the new lead through, do i even need it as its running fine without it attached. Its on a 1992 2.0 16v. Someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what it is..... Cheers

IIRC the 225 BHP one has a plastic mesh effect on the lower rear bumper in between the two exhausts. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

Sat - Drove to Oldham to buy Shane K's 2.0 16v, drove back. Chuffed to bits, now a proud owner of my first corrado. Gave it a quick clean and admired it lovingly. Mate came round and admired it too. Sun - Drove over to said mates house for an Autoglym party. Extensively cleaned car from top to toe. Went in for a cuppa, came out ten mins later with camera to find it p*ssing down......typical. In the rain repaired x2 HT leads that were split till i can pick some up. Had another cuppa whilst staring out the kitchen window at her smiling to myself :D

Just tried to but the site is blocked as i'm at work, will sign it later when i get home. Whinging gets, i'd love to live that close to a track, try and get some special rates to get on there when its not bein used.

Fingers crossed if he doesnt sell it before, i'm picking up Candywhites at the weekend. Cant wait to finally own a Corrado after owning two golfs. i'm like a kid at christmas.
