Hi dave if it had mot and tax and its in good nick then as long as the mileage was verified (old mots, service history) then you'd be looking at around £1800-£2000, some may pay more due to the fact its really low mileage for its age.....but this is just a rough estimate obviously. HTH. Let us know how you get on, and get some pics up... :-)

Just read this thread...put a huge smile on my face... ...cheers fellas -
Seems a bit high to me without t&t but if it feels ok and you think it'll go through without any issues then take a risk. Cant you come to some kind of deal with him for if it doesnt pass the mot????

I know exactly where you are coming from. I sold mine and have had a few different cars in between...but you just cant fight the addiction of wanting to own another. Once my current house move goes through (fingers crossed for october or sooner) i'll be after another one sharpish... ...long live the corrado..!!!

Some people have all the luck... cheap Storm
Whitedog replied to Andy665's topic in General Car Chat
Not being funny but if someone offered me a storm for £600 i'm hardly gonna say "mate its worth more than that heres £3k for it." Why spend more than you have to. If you could go on holiday to the caribean for £50 you would hardly say, surely its worth more than that, here have some more money. We have to work hard enough for our money so any saving of it is a bonus. just my 2p. -
Argh...how annoying is that, was there for about 20 mins the once doing this...

Beautiful that. lovely looking C. Bet your chuffed to bits.

Can only agree with this statement.....bit of pressure and the socket breaks.....fook fook fook!!!! sure we all know it well.

Yup, i'll second that, who the fook designed it and what the hell were they smoking that day....jaysus. :pukeleft:

Bit of a mixed bag there...but the workmanship looks flawless. So......what was the marque that the paint is from then? I think rover did a blue like that...but surely it wouldnt be that..

This cable adjustment you mention, can it be done yourself or would it need a garage to do it, mine requires this to be done as every now and then it gets stuck in reverse and you really need to be forceful to get it out.

Gutted for you. Main thing is you lived to drive another day. Anyone who doesnt wear their seatbelt these days is taking a bungee jump without the elastic. Hope you have a speedy recovery and that you find your new dream car out there, everything happens for a reason so lets hope that something good will come of this. Best of luck mate.

The good Dr, IIRC they have the same size spline but the later models had a collar that fitted over the spline making it bigger, i think it was so it could be more finely adjusted. Someone please correct me if i am talking complete poo. Is the vr wheel the same as the mk3 golf vr wheel or would it be a different fit/style? Chris, thats about the price i was hoping for really. The cheaper the better. Also does anyone know the diameter of the vr wheel? Cheers
-
Cheers Guys, you've excelled in yourselves again. Its the VR one i'm after in leather, does anyone know roughly how much these go for? Are they sought after much or not really? Would i be better selling my momo one and boss then buying one or would it be better to see if anyone wishes to swap. If anyone has a leather vr one lying around in good nick that they wish to part with let me know. I'll also put an ad in the wanted section me thinks.

Hi All Just after a bit of info on steering wheels please. I've tried a search but loads and loads of posts come up about steering and wheels in general. I currently have a Momo steering wheel which was on the car when i got it. Its a great wheel but i think i want to change back to an original wheel. My c is on a 92 J, which seems to be the change over period as it has early interior with later things like stalks etc. I dont want the older four spoke one but the newer three spoke one. 1. Did the newer style come in a number of designs as looking in the gallery i seem to have found two slightly different wheels. See attached... 2. Excuse my ignorance but will the wheels shown fit all models of corrado early and late? 3. And finally did the later style wheels come with a number of finishes i.e. leather or were they all finished the same. Many thanks for taking the time to read my query and to any responses. Stu

Thought you would all like to see what happens when you follow Henny's great how to on Ignition switch removal, but couldn't be bothered to remove the seat. Its definately worth removing it as one thing you cant see is the constant shaking my body was doing as it was tensed up.
-
Would a dodgy ignition switch cause the revs to drop and every now and then cut out all together? I thought it was just used for start up....??????

Coming along a treat there mate, i love seeing cars bought back from the brink to how they used to be. Its nice to see a motor with stuff wrong getting fixed, rather than the really really clean examples from people who money seems to be no object. Keep up the good work, its really coming along.
