I would definately be interested with mot, once i'd sorted out insurance (check out the cat d with them) trouble is you live about 200 miles away.

Yeah, i dont mind having to spend the rest of my budget getting the things sorted that need doing, i was just concerned that once i'd sorted everything what problems i'd have due to the high mileage. The rattle from cold concerns me a bit (chains???) but then again it could just be an exhaust shield thats come lose.

If its had a reconned cylinder head does this mean it would of had the timing chains done also??

No thats not me, and yeah it does look like a mate of his. they only joined ebay about two weeks ago. Suppose it depends on whether its a faulty rev counter or faulty wiring. Cant understand how vw never managed to fix it though. Reckon if i offer him the grand he'll probably take it if it is his mate upping it.

Hi all Got the option to purchase a 1993 vr6 corrado with 200k on the clocks. Has fsh to go with it. Would this figure put you off buying it or not??? Cheers

Been off road for 12 months suggests to me no tax....bit of a risk. But definately worth a look. i too was looking at this one as its not too far from me either, but it just sounded too cheap to me, a bit suspect. But you never know, got nothing to lose afterall. Let us know how you get on...

Flog is a group that gets together every thursday evening at the Bowling Green pub in Lichfield. For the cleverer ones amongst you you will have noticed that flog is golf spelt backwards. Its for all vag vehicles and there is always a good variety of motors from retro mk1's, vr mk2's to toureg's etc. Even a Gallardo in the past. Should take a drive down if you are in the area, folks are dead friendly.

Thats just pure sh*t, why oh why is all i can think. If i see a really nice motor, expensive (porsche etc) or not ( well looked after classic ) i dont think to scratch it. I appreciate the hard work that someones put in to A - Design and Build it, & B - to care and look after it. B*stards, should be strung up as an example.
