oh, but if the passat lock mechanismes work on a corrado it will work on all of them, there is no difference in the doors well there is one the alloy bar that is mounted in newer models but that doesn't change the door a bit, the alloy bar was on every US model... But if the combination mechanisme+door handle works on a corrado it works on ll of them :D so get the parts needed end enjoy a nice delocked look

I used the stock mechanism on my 89 corrado and on a friend his 93 corrado the 93 has a bit different looking handle but inside it's the same thing, i just took apart the stock door handle and than put the insides into the passat handles! The VR6 can't be different than the 16v or G60 the door is exactly the same and so are the mounting points for the locks so if it works it works on all the corrado's!!

Hans this is from the meeting in Mechelen not Hofstade,... normaly it's in hofstade but there is an other organasation that just took there meeting idea and spot :( i hope they burn in hell,... they are know to steal ideas and meetings,... So let's all hope it's back in hofstade next year

I took apart the corrado door handle and uses the inner pieces of the corrado handle inside the passat handle so there is no need to screw anything on to that bad alloy breaking thing...

Well if you have aircon in your corrado just use the whole under the dash aircon toys from the golf, and make sure you have all the sensor inside your car

Just seen the brembo's installed on a 16v with a 5x100 conversion... the ibiza brakes redrilled for the 5x100 Oh yes brembo does that to discs themself look at the new Gran Tourismo Junior KS motorsport selling this GTJ set
-
Yes 15" is really a big problem the compomotivo would clear the caliper without a problem, i have 17" 8J with ET35 clearing the brakes like it should, and that is not a deep dish rim... oh yes if you have a flat on a front tire with these brakes you have to take a wheel from the back to put on up front and put the spare on the rear of the car ;) smartest thing to do anyway... i don't like the small spare tire... hoping to keep it factory new 8)

The hoses have no part number because it's not a standard part, they just make the required lenght... Oh yes it's not needed, some fitted these brakes by bending the last piece of the brake line :? But if your going to upgrade just get the hose's, it's not such a big deal and the look real nice ;)

The LEON cupra R has even bigger brakes than the ibiza,... redrill the 4 stud ibiza discs for the VR6

Well seat is from the VAG group, not to sure about what your local dealer is allowd to order?? Just go and try your VW dealer, if not the seat dealer can help you... or mail ivanders for a price that is better than your dealer... ask his price and the price from your dealer
-
yes you place the caliper carrier bolt on the disc, bolt on the caliper, than the special brake line a little DOT4 and put the wheel on (one that fits over these big calipers) and your off
-
Yes the pictures i posted before in this thread... one is of my corrado with the 305mm disc to compare, the other one is ivanders his rallye with the ibiza cupra R brakes installed
-
just make the 5x100 into the discs..

This doesn't affect your ABS, the ABS just comes into play when your wheels are going to lock up, it uses sensors to determine the rotating of the wheels, every surface and tire condition combination is different, so bigger brakes are no problem for your ABS it just changes the force of braking so the wheels will rotate at all time, when you brake fully you can feel the vibration from the ABS constantly taking away pressure and letting some more back on there...
-
16" is what is on the Cupra R that is equipped with these brakes, but it's not that easy, it's not just the 16" but also the offset and how wide the rims are, and if it are deep disch rims it will be a problem to fit these... This is a pic of my car with the 305 disc put on to compare with the 256mm from my 16v

maybe drop in the corrado dashboard? maybe the whole corrado dashboard is les complicated than just clocks from an other model...

My hood is already free from sound deadening foam ... I was thinking of doing dynamat in my car, not only the hood but the hole thing including the roof on the inside... Any pics of that?? and is it better than the original stuff?? -
I had my rear bumper modified and the exhaust has been cut a bit shorter and a TDI like downwards piece put on it :D
