Just got my 1st rado couple of weeks ago and I havnt even had time to drive it yet as its in the garage.Got a friend to check it out and he said it needs a bit of work on the drivers side front wheel!CV boot,wheel bearing,ball joint and a hub and flange,think im looking at a good £150 before it evens gets on the road!!!!! Oh and there's a bit of welding that needs doing on the passenger side sill near the back wheel and it also needs 2 rear axle bushes!!!!! Should have it back early next week so will take a few pics to post I just wanna drive it!!!! steve

ive tried searching for the topic to drill the airbox on my 2.0 16v,but cant find it, can anyone give me any advice on doing this please? thanks steve

Im in the process of buying my first rado and have been phoning around for insurance quotes.Im 29 with 9 years NCB, ive been having quotes of around £600,the cheapest was £550 with Brentacre including having any mods done,does this sound reasonable. Are there any other companies to try? steve

Anyone got any pics on where i have to drill the airbox.Do i have to drill a few small holes or one big one for the cold air feed to fit into?

I have just bought a 2.0 16v rado and the rev counter is playing up is this a common fault and how do I fix it? steve

Hi there everyone,newbie here.Just found the site from Performance VW after searching helplessely on google. Just put a deposit on a 2.0 16v J reg Corrado in midnight blue(i think thats what colour it is!!) I paid £1800 for it.It has 101,000 miles on it ans is in very good condition. Iwas originally wanting a VR6 but they are fairly hard to come by and a bit outta my price range(and insurance!) so I opted for a 2.0. I used to own a Golf Driver about 4 years ago and it got written off by some idiot T boneing me so then I went French and got a saxo(I was young and stupid!!) so I thought i'd get back into the veedub scene and what better way than a Rado! I will be picking it up this weekend hopefully so I cant wait to get slightly modding it.First thing will be a debadged grill and grill spoiler and an Induction kit.I think it has already been lowered about 30mm and has a full through Scorpion zorst with Twin DTM's,it sounds very nice indeed. that's all for now steve
