sum pi** head in stafford shouted to me just "Nice scirocco m8!" so i pulled up along side him and his missus and said "Its a corrado u tw*t!" he looked a bit embarressed! lol -
lol, done it, simplest thing gone wrong so far :) just tryin to sort the ignition switch now whilst the cowlings off :s

just pulled up (luckily) and my steering column has unlocked itself and now moves up and down and i cannot lock into place :( what can i do? i need to use my car daily :(

what do u think i shud do then? im not sure, ive got 3 silencers and 1 cat bypass with silencer? shall i take 1 or 2 out?

booked it into powerflow thursday to get the centre silencer took out, should sound better then hopefully better description of what it sounds like at the minute : a constant wet fart! i hope this sorts it!

so did you have 3 silencers and the cat bypass silencer aswell then? it soundds really crap at the min, so if i get rid of middle box u rekon it shud sound ok? cheers

just fitted a magnex exhaust with a miltek cat bypass, eventually got it all to fit, and it sounds pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its got 3 silencers and the cat bypass silencer! it sounds wet! what can i do? would it sound it better if i took one of the silensers out and put a straight through pipe on or am i wasting more money?!??!?!?!

if i put a later cat bypass pipe on my 91 g60, will this allow me to fit a magnex exhaust. as the magnex system is listed 92 onwards.. im presuming the only difference is that the earlier models have a longer catalyst than a later model????

cheers for the help guys, wel start messing again later today so il try that thing with tha fan, i have got a feeling it is what u say and the fan could well be buggered. :s we'll see later on

when does the fan kick in on everyone elses g? what temp?

ok just changed them, JUST! LOL, word of warning to everyone, dont change them until the engines has cooled down! as soon as i took the clip off the thing shot in my face!!! Hahahahah, hot water and eye ball dont mix very well! lol DOH!!!!!!

just got the bits, how the hell do i fitem? the rad switch looks simple enough, screw out screw in jobby. The blue and black temp senders dont have a thread or anything so do they just pull out / push in???

is it in in the middle of the dash? if so its a covering which looks like a smaller speaker cover.

has anyone got the part numbers for the blue and black switch and the rad fan switch? just rang local stealer and they need either engine code which i cannot get in time or part numbers????

cool, looking on gsf they r cheap, so hopefully vw shudnt be a lot more??? mite aswell just renew both black and blue switches and the rad fan switch aswell and see what happens :s cheers for the help :)
