Hi I have a 1991 16v and want to fit the Audi gauges I got hold of. I've got the twin pole sender but.... I was just wondering where the senders for both the oil pressure (on top of the filter housing? But which should I replace with the audi pressure sender, the brown or the white one?) Also where are the oil temp senders? Any pictures would be great! Adam

Yeah, thought about that too but don't fancy unscrewing a sender evertime I change the oil! Thanks for the replys by the way. Any other ideas?

Hi Where and what do I need to fit an additional oil temperature sender for the Audi VDO gauges i'm fitting? I'm got the twin pole sender for the pressure but am stumped on the temp. I thought of using a t-piece but 'Big-boyz-toys' are sold out as are think automotive. Any other ideas where I could get one? Thanks Adam

Hi Just got a spare alloy wheel (spare sebring) and tried to fit it in my boot, and it won't go in 'spokes down' (so that the tool kit can sit in it) as the threaded stud prevents it sitting right. Can you remove this threaded stud? The car had a space saver originally. Anybody got a picture of their spare alloy in the well as well? Cheers Adam

THe bumper is removed by removing the (17mm?) bolts (two from each side) NOT THE MIDDLE ONE!!! Have a look underneath and you'll see what I mean. I worry about your body shop if they can't remove the original bumper   Adam

Yeah, i've just changed one of my door locks (very easy) to make it suit therest of the locks. In your cae it may be easiest to re-do the drivers door (Like I've just had to do :D ) and then order the boot lock to suit the rest of the locks (if thats pos..... anybody?) Adam

Cheers both, sorted now Adam

Excellent, Cheers fella, saves me the hassle of shifting the bumper again! Thanks Adam

Hi As above really. Recently had my front bumper off and had to disconnect the fog light and indicator on the one side. Unfortunatly they are now operating the wrong way around i.e. Left indicator works the LH foglight and the foglight switch now turns on the RH foglight and the left hand indicator. So obviously i've reconnectedit the wrong way  so... Can i disconnect/reconnect conections without taking the bumper off...... I can't remember! Thanks Adam

Ah ok, Think I understand now..... Is it an involved/difficult/expensive job to sort? Many thanks for all the replies Lads! Adam

Hi I've tried looking through the search function (honest!) but I can't find a definitive answer. My cars sunroof tilts up and down fine its just when it comes to sliding the problems start..... It slides back fine just when you come to slide it forward to close it it scratches on the roof panel (on the right hand side as you look from the front of the car if that makes a difference) Whats the problem then chaps (and more importantly how do I sort it!) Thanks in advance (once again!) Adam

Hi My temp does seem to vary but on a decent run this morning (25miles at 70-80ish) the oil was (according to the MFA) between 108-120. Seems a lot higher so I'm wondering if the muppet before me has put a really weak coolant solution into the engine. Could this cause my problem? Also what is the best way to drain the coolant system and flush it through? Thanks again Adam Adam

Hi Just got my 1991 1.8 16v and its oil seems to run alot hotter than my old Golf did,is there anything wrong? It seems to sit over 100 degrees most of the time and has got upto 120 in traffic. Coolant temp is normal(around 90 degrees ish) Anything I could check? Thanks in advance Adam

Hi Thanks for the replys, i'm planning to do a full service this weekend so that should sort that end of it. Good tip about the earth points... Hadn't thought of that one. As for the fuel pump, it sounds like its priming fine (buzzing when turning to position one anyway!) Any more advice would be great Adam

Hi I've just got a 1991 16v Corrado (upgraded from an 8v GTI) and have my 1st question.... Used the car all day today clocking up around 120 miles, took it to the cinema parked up for about three hours and when I came to start it is was very reluctant. It just turned over but wouldn't catch. I know that the car needs a really good service but is there anything else I could do to prevent this from happening again? Thanks Adam
