what performance advantages does this give, im not 100% but it will allow more air to enter the throttle body as the inlet side is now 58mm the price would be £78 all in for the work to be carryed out £70 for the work then £8 to post back to you many thanks

Hi for sale i have a port and polished, de-wedged G60 throttle body The intake before (i didnt take any pics before but found this one on google) Then the intake after : As you can see a fair bit has been cut away allowing more air to enter the Throttle body The throttle body: trying to show how poished it is: bad point is that the linkage has been misplaced. basicaly had this one done for myself and no longer goin down this route of g60, if there is more than one person that wants this the guy is more than happy to complete more for me, but will have to send your throttle body to him then he will do the work and return... if anyone is interested in having this done he would probably need the throttle body for 3days tops after arival... pm me for more details or if interested in having yours done price wise im looking for £95 posted for this one i have im based in slough cheers.

standard is the bumper to have in my opinion. i like a standard bumper with the number plate recess smothed and little number plate . im crap on the pc :roll: otherwise id load up a pic of my fave

as it says im 22 just bought G60DAN's rado and have no driving experience lol. Most companies want 2k insurance . i love the car that much ill pay it but any advise of anywhere to try for a cheaper premium would be appreciated

my charger has done about 10k since the last overhaul at g-werks are you all saying that with the 65mm pulley id only get another 10k till it needed another overhaul

What would be the recommended charger service interval on this 65mm pulley??

Have you seen the gains that g-werks heads give ???? As fitted to the Golf and Corrado. The supercharged G60 engine fits the role of supplying lots of low down power from a small engine. Benefiting from a supercharger means lots of low down punch and no turbo lag. However, if you want to release the full potential of your VW G60 engine you must address the restrictions of the standard head. Any effiiciencies found in the head will be multiplied by the supercharger. We have measured our G60 head as if it were a normally aspirated engine. This is because supercharger boost cannot be easily simulated and has many variables such as barometric pressure, ambient temprature, intercooler effiiciency and level of boost used. We are working on a model for turbocharging and supercharging engines but for the moment we only have figures the head as if it were normally aspirated. This at least gives a fair benchmark of the improvements made. Our G60 head shows a very healthy inlet increase of 30.9 % peak flow rate at max valve lift is seen here along with a substantially improved flow rate across the valve lift range. Exhaust improvement is 26.9% improvement at the max valve opening. These are substantial gains and will benefit the delivery of the power low down as well as peak power overall. This head will produce 156BHp without a supercharger at 6500rpm. Our estimate is 190BHP at standard 6psi boost. More is possible with higher boost although you may also wish to consider our big valve version of this head may be worth a look got any pics of your G then mate??
