Glad to see this wonderful car again. Whats not to like about a blue storm with recaro, aston 4 pots and other tasteful mods? ;) Will you be attending any shows kip?

The rado owners mantra right there. Thing is though, it IS a lovely motor mate that you have put a lot into. I think we all think that our own doesn't cut it with the best as the standard of some cars on here is quite something! My point before was to say that in your position I would store it out of the way for a bit while using something modern and re visit it when ready.

Just looking at your Sig pic Jim...... The rado looks great to come back to after a break

So I can't promise it as a crimbo gift? Bugger

has to be auto mate. jim, go test one and that will help you. As said the dealer will want to win you away from your lease so let them try to your benefit mate. Then find a golf r deal and let me have a go :)

it Smells strange so don't get drenched in it as it won't go down well with friends family etc! I went for Mt90 after reading advice on here, seems ok to me. -
Id say there is a risk with the car. Best case it needs the screen re fitting, this would probably break the screen currently in place. worse case you have to re fit or replace the glass AND treat, cut, seal your A pillars. If the car is cheap then maybe worth a shot but screens with corrados bring horror stories. Apparently its not hard whenyou know how but for some reason there have been plenty of cock ups ive read about. Could be a big job and pricy. So again its down to risk calculation.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Bordeaux is a really nice colour so I would stick with it when you arrange a respray. If black is the colour for you then maybe hold out for a black one as it's going to save you a lot of hassle of a colour change. As for wheels the oem ones should be salvageable by full shot and powder coat so if you like them I'm sure you can keep them :) Hope this helps. And share some pics of your new ride soon!
