  1. Bought mine from rieger online for £70 p&p
  2. Never really liked the idea of a supercharger. Bolt on mods aren't my thing, my car's all about craftsmanship. To me, fitting a turbo means buildin/engineering an engine capable of handling it.

Sorry, just speaking from experience and knowing a few decent painters and what they charge.

for a poor to average job.
  5. Sub box is now underway. Currently 3.08cu ft so i need to shape it around the spare wheel well to get the desired 3.8 cu ft required for my monster sub, if it ever arrives :(
  6. I'll definately talk to you about it
  7. thanks  MMmm VR turbo. Must admit i do like to modify original components rather than transplant.

    Engine Clean?

Best way is to strip everything off the engine, degrease, polish and rebuild
  9. Agree, FK's have blue springs.
  10. There's no debate, Magnex is miles better. Milltek have been report to have improved the fit of their system but its still no magnex when it comes to build quality. Go to each manufactures website and look as the quality of the welding around the rear silencer end plate then make up your own mind. Worth investing in poly hangers too.
  11. You never know, i'll keep you posted. Not sure is you'll like the cage design i have in mind. I'll PM you a pic  cool, that would be good... cheers Ben PM sent.
  12. Late porsche mirrors are window mounted so should be an easy swap. Always fit parts from more expensive cars
  13. Got a sub on order :D Its just a bit too pretty to hide in a box so i want to mount it basket facing out. Is it simply a case of building a sealed box to match the subs parammetres and mounting the sub basket out or does it require a different type of box design? TIA
  14. 205/40/17's are fine, different brands are different width's even tho' they still say 205. Toyo's and pirellis are on the narrow side, yoko's are wider
  15. I'm convinced you'll like it when you see it. Not sure i can really call my car a road car anymore, then again it only vaguely resembles a corrado
  16. You never know, i'll keep you posted. Not sure you'll like the cage design i have in mind. I'll PM you a pic
  17. Dashboard centre consule was discontinued 2002. There's supposed to be 3 new ones sat at on the shelves of three dealers. I phoned 2 of them and they didn't have them listed on their stock. The third dealer, i never got past the answer phone.
  18. where's the new BHP figures?!!! and more importantly how much torque have you got now?
  19. Are you and Phat competing for the forum's bluntest member? Couldn't begin to compete, he's the master.
  20. Just thought a 2.9 is a nice touch on a C with 24V. Must admit you've got me thinking about a transplant. A low miles transplanted and blown 24V may work out cheaper than a rebuilding a 12V and adding a T3/4.
