Yeah, no number plate, no fogs, no side repeaters, no reversing lights and no rear seat belts. I'm gettting a fail report in January. Another pic from PHATVR6 attached, currently my favourite motoring photographer I can't help but chuckle that you just know an MOT failure is coming and theres not a lot you can do about it... considering you won't actually be allowed to drive your car on public roads once you get that fail! What are your plans to get the car through then?! 1, take the back seat out completely to get around the rear seat belt issue, 2, Reconnect fogs and reverse and sit cluster on parcel shelf, 3, tempory fit front plate with blue tack 4, tape repeaters to the wing easy

Been very lucky i guess. Passed several police cars, even chatted to a police officer in the queue outside tatton park and nothing was said. :D Luck's holding up so. Went to the gym tonight and there was police all over the place and roads closed. Drove past 5-6 police officers, all looking at my car and i was getting worried but nothing. Parks up in the gym, 10mins later police walk into the gym. Mental note, starting thinking of excuses. Any way turns out they've found a bomb in the building oppersite and wanted to evacuate the building and seal the area. Obviously my first concern was "paint job" and i decided to sneak past rather than leave the C in the park. Close call

Completely, totally, utterly impressed Ben. The bit you've made above the dash really suits the tvr dash too. Get it pro trimmed to do it justice. Should imagine you'd get a good deal due to the headline grabbing nature of the mod. -

Love those pics. :D Think it was about 7pm near sheffield so the sun was just starting to set hence, headlight on. Then noticed PhatVR6 hanging out of the window of a fast moving mk2 hence the surprised/confused look in the second pic. Can't believe how tucked up into the arches the wheels are. And still have the liners in place up front too.

Sorry for the OT. Any chance of posting the pics of me on the motorway on sunday in the members gallery. I'm hoping you took one from directly behind so i can see how phat my car looks on the road.

Like your style on this one. Usually the dash to windscreen fit is what lets most transplants down. Looking like its going to be very well executed. Looking forward to more teaser pics!! -
Problem is, it doesn't match or compliment any part of the cars styling IMO.

I was thinking about this the other day. Can't remember the last time i recieved a copy of sprinter. I usually have a chat with jeremy at tatton but didn't see him this year. Maybe its abit too much responsablity/time consuming leaving the club mag to one person? I'd be happy to contribute showpics and event reports. First i've heard about a National Day, this year? 2004?

Think i'm right in saying those aren't damping adjustable. Thats important if you are fitting larger wheels as you may need to firm them up to avoid tyre rubbing issues.

Couple of pics of my c from the GTi Spectacular @ York. Poor show this year, think they upset the v-dub guys by inviting the modders rwyb. Real shame, it was turning into a stonking show two years ago if they'd stuck to the formula. Also my C's first competitive outting :D Shame no one else enter my class, my car looks very lonely in the first pic.

New wheels & pipe. + reflector mod (update 23/9/04)

I'm not getting the steelly thing. :? To me, looks like someones nicked your wheels. That car would look really nice on Sebrings. Ideally I would have a set of Compo 8x16" TH2 on it. Now were talking :D -

Yeah  Took me a along time to save up for my paint job, no way i'm parking less than the length of a door away from the car next to me. Some people have no respect

Not keen on the rear bumper but generally i like it, look at the theme of the car as a whole. Nice colour some very good body mods to a good std it would appear, paints a little bit iffy around the right hand side rear cluster but it works and i bet it draws the crowds at E38. Personally think your in the wrong on this one. Why slate a guy because he's got the balls to try harder than most, definiately wouldn't agree that his ruined it, he did buy it for less than £500 and turn it into a PVW feature car and multiple show winner. Sure a C looks nice lowered abit with wheels and new lights but everyone's done that. The guy's spend 3 months flushing the roof and he's boxed right up to the hinge. Go look at your roof and see how big the gap is between the front of the tailgate hinge and the recess in the roof. Thats pretty special, personally he gets my respect not a slagging off. -
Did a shoot with Club GTi (Rabbit) today. Should be on the cover of the christmas issue.
