One mod in particular may not go down too well here but it needs to be done as i'd like to take the car to Belgium to compete. No, still got them. Front ones are damaged from when the car rolled down the drive. Nothing to serious, needs the the rims polishing/diamond polished to get the scraps out. regards

Hi Chris, Its an eibach brace and it cost £120. Not sure if they are still available as Venom and C&R's ad's say soon to be discontinued. Best ring them a.s.a.p. Its is a very tight fit and requires modification to clear the abs ground points and the header tank needs lowering. Worth it tho' as its the best looking brace I've seen. cheers lee.

My engine bay has been cleaned and everything is painted, polished or chromed. As I'm based in the north I can't help with suggesting platers near you. Chroming is very expensive so be prepared to do a lot if the prep work yourselve so keep costs down. Wrap any threads with tape and during the winter months spray with WD40 to keep the salt at bay. But it worth the effort every time you lift the bonnet. cheers

I fitted coilovers to my VR in march of this year after 3 years of ownership. I was worried about fitting coilover as I liked the cars handling and ride. I spoke to Ian Birch who advised FK Ones which he thought offered the best ride/handling comprise of any coilover kit he'd tested. As Dubsport sell H&R, Koni, Interalloy, Bilstein and Avo I was confident that he was right so they where fitted. First impressions was the kit was very firm (but not harsh in anyway) but the ride was better with 17" wheels than the standard kit. The handling is awesome. It really turns the VR into a sportcar!! The kit was £500+VAT and fitting. Best money I've ever spend on any car. Highly recommended. Wished I done this mod years ago. cheers

Just had A20 LEE MOT'd and I need the rear brakelines replacing. I've ordered a set of Braided ones but does anyone one know if theres a stainless replacement/alternative for the rest of the brakelines :?: Had new ones 2 years ago! cheers

There 8x17 with a 32mm offset. The arches are standard I think (haven't modded them myself) and they don't rub in normal use. The fronts catch the liners if i hammer it and there's a dip in the road. I'm going to try and go bigger next year! Interior pic attached.

I suspect my CAT will need replacing after the MOT on Saturday. Any idea's on how much a new one will cost. Ideally I want a stainless steel one or as my car is a 1992 can I just bin the CAT and fit a bypass pipe? My exhaust id a magnex cat back system. cheers
