    That may have been the case but not anymore. I was admiring a mk3 with a kit fitted and they worked better then MJ's genuine items in the VR Cab.

    Thats a good price. Had my valver done and it cost £822 for the bonnet wings and bumper.

    Come on people, the first mod in the picture is the seam below the cluster has gone. There's a second mod around the cluster to spot yet! :?:

    A retrim is much better than a factory leather trim. For a start a VW leather seats only had leather faces. The rest of the seat is PVC. You get what you pay for with retrims, £800 will get you a trim using cheap leather, £1200-1400 for a quality job.

    Just been to the bodyshop today for the first time since i dropped it off. I'm absolutely gob smacked by the standard of the mods. It's definately in the right hands. Heres a pic of the rear cluster. You may need to go out and look at your C' to see whats been happening here. Car's now being left to settle in its coat of polyester primer (posh eh').

    looks like you are flaring the arches and messing with the door handles...might this be the case? Your staring at that pic way to much, just been looking at it myself. It gives nothing away other than its a proper job.

    Its stunning. Only ever liked moonlight blue on Asim's car, must be the interior which make the coulour appear brighter.

    Going to order a set on monday. Need to see pics of as many different wheel and brake combo's as possible to see what fits (come show them off). I'd like 335mm with 6pots but i'm running 17" splitrims with 52mm from std disk to spoke so i may need to go for a small disc to miss the splitrim bolts. Advice welcomed along with pics. TIA

    Just measured from the back of my wheel to the standard disc and theres 52mm of clearance, is this enough for 4/6 pots on a 335mm disc? The wheels are split rims so will the bolts give me grief?

    How do you tell the difference between a pattern screen and a genuine screen? Lookin' throught my insurance doc's, they will only cover the cost of replacement if i use there windscreen company.

    Does the new screen come with new rubber? The bodyshop are going to replace my screen, being the thorough person i'm thought i be better replace this too. Are they expensive?
