Hmmm, not really. Its more like a Cult Society car i'd say.
-
Can't wait to see it buff'd up!! Theres three coats of primer, four coats of colour and three coats of lacquer on there.
-
The target is get it ready for the Custom Concours at GTi Festival next month. Its going to be very tight :!:
-
Yeah, seams have gone below and above the clusters. Not sure its a cal look, more german/belgian/cult society. Still my only car mainly due to the expensive of building it which means i don't have the money to buy a banger. Your not really selling your VR :?
-
Well it's painted! Its not been washed yet!! (no windows) or polished and look at the finish. Looks amazing even covered in dust!

Porsche and Ferrari offer Pirelli as a cost option over bridgestone(ferrari) and michelin (porsche). They also won this years and last years performance tyre of the year in Autocar and Autoexpress. They must be better.
-
Go to max power!!! Think they had some cars there too but i didn't notice them.
-
Been to see it this morning. Its awesome  Its sat in the final coat of primer and goes into the booth for colour on monday. Its the first time i've seen it with the new wheels on and the impact and stance of the car, even with no doors or tailgate is jaw dropping. Hopefully the big unveiling is only a month away.

No prob's. I'll scan and post them later in the members gallery.
-
Blimey. Its a bit more conservative than that but still a bit too wild for some.
-
Going down to take some new pics tomorrow, not sure when i'll get the car back, as you can imagine the guy's doing such an amazing job on it i don't want to push him. Its ready when is ready. Still got a load of rubbish jobs to do myself. Today will be spend polishing 20 stainless steel bolts :(

MOT man's going to love me. No CAT, no side repeaters, no..............
-
I'll let you know! The ride was very smooth on the 205/40/17 yet to drive the car on its new rims.
-
Wasn't at much fun as you'd expect. For one shot they had two glamour models washing the windscreen showing loads of cleavage, snapper at the end of the bonnet just wait for me to gorp, snap! Git.
-
Mine was in "the Golf" last year, Rabbit the year before and Max Babes the year before that.
-
I'd go for 8x16, mainly because a C' will scrape the floor on slammed on 15's. A topic on the mailing list a couple of years ago was ground clearance from spoiler to floor. On 15's, Richard B and Brooksy was 45mm!!! Mine on 17's was 85mm and that scrapes everywhere.
-
Yeah, no corners have been cut. Its will be 70% finished for this year. I'm really pleased with the pirelli as they went on dead easy and the tread pattern looks very similar to an F1 tyre with four grooves, exaggerates how wide they look.
-
215/35/17 up front and 225/35/17 at the rear. Rims are 17's.
-
The bodyshop painting my car got a specialist to remove the glass. Also due to my car having done nearly 90k the windscreen was pitted so i was told it would probably crack on removal and it did.
-
When you see the finished car the stretch doesn't since quite so extreme mainly because the PZero Neros have a very rounded side wall and a very big rim protector which exaggerates the stretched look. I won't be pushing the car hard on the new rims due to the fact i've got over 2K in them. Their show wheels only and i'll get a set of black Cup 1's for everyday use. Don't worry mate, i'm not risking stacking the car...
-
It was never the car i wanted it to be. Mainly because i was fresh out of uni and couldn't afford to spend much. Now i'm trying to forfill my ambition, some won't like it but is my dream car.
-
I've never seen the PVS one in the metal but thought it looked really nice. Mine is much more extreme so i'm expecting to get some stick when it hits the shows next month.
-
Have faith, unbelievably thats a 35 profile tyre.
-
Check out my tyre  , streeeetttttched to fit. Bit on the wild side, more so than i was expecting!
-
Yep, keeping the colour. You know me, like to keep you guessing.
