  1. Fantastic response to this event so far! I'm sure it will be a stunning sight see all these Vr6 / r32 motors on the banked track at brooklands :) Come on guys :) would like to get at least 70 cars coming to this event :)
  2. Bump ! 54 cars registered so far and over and 70 people coming so shaping up be an awesome day, trophies will be at the laser cutters soon ;)
  3. Good stuff. :) anyone else up for this? We had a cracking display last year :)
  4. It's not too shabby :) one of the main reasons I went for it was because 4.0 is out in next few months and it's totally rewritten with support for @mention like on Facebook etc... So if you tag someone it appears in their notifications etc.. Much more social driven and that :)
  5. Most content management systems do the job, but 90% have really poor forum plugins, one reason I ditched e107 of using it for 10 years! Most users browse on mobile devices these days, so even software a few years old will struggle to reach out to the majority as everything moves to more "social" platforms. I've just moved to invision power board with the various plugins for subscriptions, gallery, content etc... It's always going to be more successful building a website of the back of a strong community / forum platform, and not the other way around due to forum plugin limitations that exists in most CMS's. Lots to think about when choosing software but you need to view your analytics and see what devices users are accessing, no point going down a cul-de-sac like I was doing with e107 which hasn't seen any significant improvements in over 8 years! I've been coding my own solutions over the years, so haven't felt the pinch, but the change in users seeking a more social platform has now meant moving to new software, not cheap mind, cost the club $300 so far in software but have already recovered that in memberships over the last few weeks, it's all fully automated so very little overhead which is quite key these days.
  6. Lee, if you need any advice, get in touch mate, I've been running the VR6 Owners Club for over 10 years have just set up a new website / forum so if you want any advice or possibly wish to get involved with things then let me know :)
  7. Garage system and photo gallery now online guys :) All club memberships bar 50 to transfer! Total pain manually jigging things over, but the forum is now much much better. Club shop and articles will be moved over next week :) http://Http://www.vr6oc.com/
  8. Weekend bump :) Perfect opportunity to meet others off here vr6oc, r32oc and TTOC :) Will be the last BIG event of the show season, so no excuses not to come If you have any questions, let me know :)
  9. Hi all, the link to register for club stand is now live :) Register here - http://jotformeu.com/form/32681854412354 We had a good turnout of Corrado's last year, so lets see if we can build on that :) Cheers. Pete
  10. I'm organising a club stand for this event. 10 spaces available. Was a good event last year, and one of the final events of the year apart from the national meet at brooklands :) If your interested, let me know. Pete
  11. That's fine matey :) already got over 60 people coming so a few more won't hurt :D
  12. Trophies are being made up in next couple of weeks. The group photo will look stunning with all the cars that are coming :) Who else fancies this?
  13. Can't believe I've not made the jump before now, most of my traffic comes from mobile devices these days so have to make it accessible to everyone :)
  14. Forgot to mention that we now support tapatalk too.
  15. Hi All, Just thought I'd do a little announcement to celebrate VR6OC turning 10 years young I have finally put my hand in my pocket and have purchased some good forum software :) Gone with Invision Power Board Still early days yet, lots of configuration and features to play with, just getting all current club memberships over into the system (manual task) But have a look around, see if you can all log in and post OK, its been quite a task migrating 10 years worth of data without breaking anything I can tell you :) http://www.vr6oc.com/forum/ Pete
  16. Excellent :) so excited now. Fingers crossed for dry weather! :) Will bring some juice juice and hopefully some fairy cakes with club logo on given we are 10 years old this month :)
  17. Got a replacement from stealth before.
  18. Excellent! Shaping out to be a an excellent day. Is anyone staying over the night before?
  19. Not been working on corrado, but rather readying the new vr6 owners club website / forum. Moved to invision power board full mobile and tapatalk support. Hoping to launch within a few days :)
  20. We've got one guy off from r32oc travelling from John o groats ! And looks like there's a few up for food / drink the night before! Bring it on!
  21. Had BMC's over 10 years now. All my engines have run good power!
  22. Seeing that stealth logo reminds me I should continue to work on vinces new website! When vr6oc did the rolling road day a few months ago it was a minimum of 20 cars upto around 30 - 35. Think we ran around 28 on the day and were done for around 3:15 -3:30 pm.
  23. Cool :) there's some of us staying over night before for beers / food if anyone is up for it?
  24. A quick morning bump for this event :) Really looking forward to this, will make a change from all the standard shows and a great finale to the year before you tuck up those corrados for winter :)

    Heater Control

It would just be the lower cog that has worn / popped out or snapped, it has the same plastic type runner thing underneath. You can take the cog out and inspect :) I'm looking at getting these made up in billet alloy
