Drop the tank. Safer.

That's for your power steering pump. There will be flexi's each end on the rear on the support.

Under what conditions does it pop? I presume when your lights are off the fuse doesn't pop but when you turn them on they do? You've probably got a short somewhere bud, and you'll need check your wiring..

Spoke to Vince on Friday who mentioned the remaining cams have arrived so expect them to be available shortly :-)

Genuine wishbones blasted to base and powder coated with uprated R32 rear bushes and genuine front bushes, all ready to fit as part of my subframe replacement project.
Might as well do it properly :-)

Hi all,
I now have my wishbones and sub-frame all shotblasted and freshly powdercoated...
What I need to know is a list of bolts, clips etc.... I should replace to do the job... essentially, anything I remove I want to replace...
I have the following part numbers so far...
N 904 840 03 1x pink fury dice only joking, front wishbone bush bolt, M12x1.5x82
N 102 096 03 upper sub-frame bolts, M12x1.5x65
N 102 078 03 rear wishbone bush bolt, M12x1.5x78
N 102 575 01 rear most sub-frame bolts, M10x24
Is there anyhing else I really should be replacing to make the job easier?
ARB mount bushes, clamps for the steering rack etc... ? if so, does anyone have the part numbers? I'm hoping that people who have done recent front sub-frame refurbs will know a list of parts off hand :)
Cheers all.

Ok i will give stealth racing a ring .thanksSeemingly there is a code to access this within the cars data system as i have heard it can be done.My mechanic was using a Launch X431 to run the scan.
there is, but im sure if it was easy as entering a password everyone would be doing it using VAG-COM and stealth wouldnt offer this service :)
its easier to remove the imob in all fairness to prevent it happening again...

Guys ,OK!.Seems that the immobiliser has failed and to get access to the data to override the immobiliser or ecu requires a password..I have a mechanic friend who has run a scan to find out for me what the problem was.He just contacted me and asked me to try and find out how to source this password to get access into the cars data.Any ideas on a way around this or to find this password?..waiting on a call from the dealership as the mechanics were busy when i called today.I think even if i were to replace the ecu with another it still requires the password to reprogramme although i think the original ecu can be reprogrammed to operate with the immobiliser removed.still requires a password though within the car, nothing to do with the software.Sounds like you need to contact Stealth Racing and send off your ECU to have the immob removed from the ECU, it's a fairly common fault, had to have mine done as part of my OBD2 upgrade as it didnt work.

Looks good ! Might order a set myself!

Hi there,
The Hella Radiators come highly recommended, really good quality and fit, along with a good price... with regards to the hoses, its either Samco £££ though, or there was a recent group buy with Roose Motorsport who also have produced hoses at a cheaper price.

Car not starting - oil light keeps flashing

sounds like your imob is buggered, common fault on VR6's. pretty sure oil light does flash until the engine has started so wouldnt worry about that.
